Not dangerous or concerning but I wish they would have lasted me down to them wear pattern without dry rot at all. Dry rot seems to kill even premium tires after a few years now. I would be angry if my tire had enough thread on it and dry rotted (like I hear from Michelin tires).

Same but problem is that they don’t make the khumos over 225 size. Another factor in choosing your tire is if they even have your size to begin with. I needed a 245/50/16 and they didn’t have it.

For EVERYONE bagging on these tires for not bein comfortable or whatever. Did you all check you tire pressure? If you run over 35 psi you WILL break your back. Make sure you all have good alignment and PERFECT tire pressure because EVEN 1 psi DIFFERENCE IS A LOT. I’ve had the displeasure of giving an earful to MANY mexican tire techs that they got my tires WAY over inflated at 39psi
How many miles on them? Ultra high performance tires like these wear significantly faster the tires many drivers are used to--it's the trade off for much greater grip and faster input. What's important is how quickly they wear in comparison to others in the class.

I got 4 new HANKOOK VENTUS V2 CONCEPT 2 tires for my 2010 Civic 3 years. I am living in San Francisco bay area. They are not working good. Poor performance in rain, and poor performance in rough road. I am not buy these tires again, and I not recommend to my friends or relatives.

Don’t even think about getting these tyres. After having used these tyres for an excruciating 2 years, I have never been so thankful that it’s time to change to new tyres. These tyres should receive an award for being the most uncomfortable tyres ever designed, even more uncomfortable compared to track tyres such as the RE003 and AD08R simply because it’s HARD. The tyres themselves feel as though it was made from 80% steel and 20% rubber. On smooth roads, they’re noisy and bumpy. On uneven roads, I immediately regret driving the car. To make matters worse, the wet grip on these tyres are nonexistent. Unless you’re driving at 15MPH, it’s near impossible to brake in time. Any sudden brakes on wet surface will cause the vehicle to sway sideways or forwards hence causing a collision. I’d be more than happy to buy any other tyres even those manufactured in China as compared to this simply because it was designed to induce stress among drivers. It’s unsafe, noisy and slippery but can easily last for 100000 miles if you can last that long without crashing into something or someone

Those dots aren’t going to aid handling. They’re indicators to tell you if the tire is wearing evenly.

You say dry rot, but how long have you owned them? Dry rot occurs( to my knowledge) from time and not from miles of wear.
My hankook's ventus v2 concept2 205/45r17 reads made in USA
I bought these only two years ago. 20,000 miles later, and these tires have hardly any traction in the wet.
