I think this is beautiful. I love these guys so much. I watch these new cop shows and its all scientific, no warmth or love...with Starsky and Hutch they were different. Their chemistry made the show.
OMG!! I am crying my eyes out! What an absolutely beautiful video!! Everything is awesome...music, clips, and most of all, seeing the love and compassion these two have for each other. Amazingly wonderful Kathy girl - amazing!! LOVE IT!!
This show was so good because these actors brought their A game to the portrayal of these officers, these partners who were so much more than only partners. They were clearly soulmates, twin flames. When one was in jeopardy or turmoil or pain, you could see and feel it reflected in the very spirit of the other. When you meet the one who can give and receive that kind of love in your life, hold on. Starsky & Hutch was so much more than the usual procedural cop show. So much more than a crime drama. It was a lesson in love and what it means to have such a deep connection with another human being. Total appreciation to the cast and crew for giving even a few years of their lives to bring this story into our living rooms every week. For allowing us, as viewers, to experience it. And respect to Paul Glaser and David Soul for pouring so much of themselves into these roles, so much that they forged a deep, bonding real life friendship that lasted for most of their lives. Rest in peace, sweet David. You are surely missed. And dearest Paul, I wish you strength and love. Thank you both for giving us all something so very special. Neither of you will ever be forgotten. ♥
Only program like this that came close emotionally was NYPD Blue and that was a distant second. Starsky and Hutch remains the absolute BEST buddy cop television show ever created. In fact, it wasn't merely that. It was a love story about two men who would fight and die for one another any time, any where. Best friends forever. Thank you Paul and David for giving us Starsky and Hutch. ❤👍

Watched a very interesting interview with David soul & Paul M Glaser , and both have said they put a lot of themselves into the making of every episode the writers, producers, and directors all put in wat they wanted but the guys added stuff too. it was basically about 2 cops who jst happened to be friends , David said they brought the humanity to it, they were friends that happened to be cops! not the other ways round , not " stick your hands up " but "stick your hands up, please" !, they went about their work always making it about the people first. and their friendship came first, they knew each other over a decade before S&H and were already good friends and that friendship was built on and over the series. they each even directed some of the shows and did a mighty fine job too( i personally thought they were my favourite ones)! . They went above and beyond they put themselves who they were as men & actors into the character wat they wanted to see come out and that's why the show worked, this chemistry they had when together and the love they shared off screen was very evident on screen and Paul said " that CANNOT be made up". in the S&H Movie Owen & Wilson tried but they didn't really have the chemistry as Davis & Paul had and THAT'S wat made the series work!! Loved the perfect end to the video, that was a nice touch a happy touch, seeing the happiness between them being back together again Perfect thankyou for wat must have been hard work organising but it worked best video ever , i've only watched now 100 times its jst so good!
Such a warm and loving video showing their deep connection to each other and how this shows them when the thought of losing one how it effects them so deeply and that they would do anything to help save the other

I can't think of a more perfect song choice. Between the lyrics and clips, no mere mortal can resist the pull of their love, and the pain at the chance of losing what makes them truly alive. The sun would fall from the sky and heaven would cry if one of them were to die. When I heard, So hold on, be strong...I'm here don't you fear, I pretty much lost what hold I had on my emotions. I love the tears falling, we can all pretend it those tears and not ours hitting the screen. I hope that the guys get a chance to see your videos. Your art is beautiful and evokes such raw emotion. I hope you know what a huge role you play in keeping the guys in the present and I thank you for allowing us to share in their world.
If only there was music like this to the episodes. Back then I don't remember even hearing the background music, probably because it was the same on all drama/police shows. I just have to shut out that ancient crap and watch the guys while listening to their voices.
