Shame it wont be the Growlers playing. I've seen Brooks play live a handful of times and it's not the same. Hes still a phenomenal vocalist and his new band slays but when they play Growlers songs its bitter sweet the instrumental doesnt have the same umf.

A lot of their sound is influenced by 50s/60s do wop, rock n roll, and surf rock so it definitely works with them covering songs from the era.
Nielsen's voice is perfect for the song. I can't stop listening to this!

They add their spin but they’re still faithful to that 50s/60s sound and the original by the Sherrilles.

I saw them live recently and was worried this amazing live performance would get my hopes up, but they lived up to this amazing sound and exceeded it. They were SO good. It's the best concert I've ever been to. (It helped that I was in the front row and got to hold kyle's hand
