How come Protagonist couldn’t heal on the last heal trigger? He went to 5 damage right? Same as Paddy’s damage. I thought you healed if you had more or equal to your opponents damage?

Paddy has 5 damage and Protag has 4 damage at that moment, damage triggers that are checked does not count towards the damage count until all effects have been resolved
