Happy Memorial of St. Teresa of Avila! Thank you, Fr. Chris, for the inspirational homily on the prayer life of our Saint today. Looking back, as I was trained in the Discalced Carmelite life for 9 years, it’s not surprising to me how the prayer life in the monastery is lived. I humbly say that it’s very rich in spiritual activities, that enables one to solely aspires union with God for all eternity. I truly miss the contemplative life, but God has other plans for me. His loving and merciful heart guided me on where I could be of help in the world. At first it wasn’t easy, the pain of living outside the convent was unbearable, but my faith in doing God’s will triumph. By accepting my new life, I was able to share the prayer life I learned to others: to my high school students, families and friends. Obedience to God is the most beautiful response and holy thing to do, and to experience the joy of God’s presence in peace and love. This what we have to strive for in our lives. God bless us all.
For all the sick and suffering and dying in the world

Father Chris, am a retired teacher here in Maryland, USA, a Marian Helper, and a Cebuana. I’ve been connecting with my friends and relatives in Cebu to join the Foot Procession on October 19th during the 5th Asian Apostolic Congress on Mercy on Oct. 14th to 19th.
Praying for your safe travels, Father Chris and Father Kaz. Hope you will love Cebu, Philippines. It is the cradle of Christianity in the Philppines.
Pray for the people who are willing to go for higher studies. Pray for youth to be holy.

I really enjoyed your homily, Fr. Chris, about St. Teresa of Avila, who just happens to be my patron saint from baptism. I hope that your trip to the Philippines will be a safe and fruitful one. I'll keep you and Fr. Kaz both in my prayers. I may need a bit of a prayer request because with the weather starting to get colder, which means that I might have to start staying at home from Mass so that I don't get ill. During the winter months one book that I'll start reading will be "The Life and Revelations of Saint Gertrude the Great", which will take a little while. God bless you Fr. Chris now and always.

Please help me pray for peace in my home. My son needs prayers for healing. He suffers from PTSD and for his wife and 2 year old, all three of them are now living with us. My daughter who is disabled and has left the Church, she also lives with us. I’ve been diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd time, please pray for my husband who is a police officer and a saint in my eyes. Everyone in this house is depressed at this time. I’m praying for all the viewers and also the priests and brothers. 🙏🏼💕

I went to see “average Joe” this past weekend. I recall the Living Divine Mercy episode that featured Joe Kennedy. I was pleasantly surprised, while watching previews of coming attractions, to learn about the release of the movie I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION. Thank you for mentioning it. I did see the Marian logo at the bottom. My calendar is noted and I will continue to look on social media for its release and hopefully in a theater near me. Lots of POWERFUL STUFF in the Marian pipeline. 😄👍🏻
