The fact that this still brings me comfort, years and years later, shows just how much of an impact this game has had on everyone’s lives. Something that will hopefully never fade away.
I lituarry started sobbing after your comment. It makes me sad to see how everything in the industry is changing for the worse and it's all about making a quick profit.
this game is the definition of nostalgia, I have been and I still am growing up with Minecraft, memories of the past of this game can really make one emotional, most people see this game and would say it’s a kids game, but it’s much, much more than that. I love this game, the soundtracks make my heart calm and full of a happy sad feeling, this game has given so many memories I will not forget, I could never thank the creators of Minecraft and it’s soundtrack, I won’t ever forget this game :)
It's that thing with humans evolving with Earth, I forgot the term or theory but it goes that us Humans feel safe when we hear birds singing, since back in the day, that was a sign of no danger or predators, since loud noises would make the birds leave, also rain might have the same effect as that, which is cool to think of, even if the memories of our distant ancestors are available to use directly, their lives are still leave us with effects like this in the distant future.
God blessed us with a means of receiving water via rain. By design, it is peaceful and refreshing in more ways than one. It is a great example of intelligent design.
POV: You’re reading the comments at 2:00am. You can’t go to sleep, too much on the mind. Hopefully we can find solace together in shared memories through the music and rain. We all want to return to our childhood, but we can’t. It’s memorable because it is over. We grew up. The console gathered dust. Work is unfulfilling, school getting harder. So we find ourselves looking back. Look forward, because we can’t live in the past. Our days here are a gift, and let’s make the most of it
minecraft has always been such a comfort, the times when i was young playing it on my ipad afraid of any zombie or creeper that walked even close to me, the times i didnt know how to make a bed and ended up just waiting the night out in a shack I was for some reason proud of. This brings back a lot of memories, thanks dude
I had Minecraft PE on my tablet when i was young, and before night appears i always make a 5 blocks high base with pyramid glass roof and wall made out of bricks. I'm also afraid on mobs too, when i get near them i drop my tablet and ran away from it lol. (MCPE survival had unlimited supplies just like creative mode but it got removed on update 0.7.0 if i remember)
as somebody who has adhd and autism, i find it incredibly hard to sleep without white noise, yet i can’t focus with people talking or specific sounds, and just rain isn’t enough, this hits the spot
Minecraft is such a timeless video game that everyone has experienced. It’s so simple yet still stays up to date so that both old and new players can have a fun time playing. a lot of games die out after a few years but Minecraft is one that is still around and played pretty often and because of that most of us will relate to and know about Minecraft because it’s literally been everyone’s childhood so it’s one thing we all pretty much have in common. Actually that sounds like it would be a great way to start a conversation with someone you want to talk to but never thought you could because you had nothing in common. anyways I hope you all have a nice day or night don’t forget you all are awesome and loved bye 💖
I've been playing over 10 years, since i was in middle school I'm 23 now, still have my own little world in minecraft The new updates are incredible, so glad this game continues to be timeless
Saw the subtitles n already the flood of emotions came running. Personally for me Minecraft music has this way of being super peaceful where it can calm me down but also a way for me to cry when I need too. I have a bit of an emotional bond with the game n music it being there for me when I was lonely. The game and music feel like a long lost friend, except it's just their spirit sitting beside me comforting me the best they can not being able to say anything. I love vids like this cuz I can play it in the back while I sleep or need to calm down or just while I'm doing other stuff. :))
Minecraft’s music feels like I’m somewhere very far away, just relaxing in front of the fireplace, with a nice big blanket. I feel nostalgia, but also a feeling that I can’t describe. Just a.. nice warm feeling. Like everything will be fine in the end. The rain is also relaxing, because it’s like it’s washing away all the dirt (bad memories, traumatic events, stress, anxiety) away. I’ve been through some stuff, and this is super relaxing.
We didn't know we were making memories, we were just having fun. -Winnie The Pooh Hopefully I got the quote right lol Also these subtitles are about to make me cry bruv 🤧😭
I remember playing the Xbox 360 tutorial version, and hearing the music play as me and my brother would explore the castle and find out that the minecraft logo was hollow from inside. Those were really the good ole days :(
I have the Xbox 360 version and i can understand completely. Tho it made me update itself but I still got the world's where me and my bro would rp different characters. It was one of the first games I though him to play when he was 3-4 years old. I even hop on just to make it rain and relax and get chills just standing on my roof and listening with my brother doing things. God Minecraft your always going to be good and never become old, and if it does... Well screw it, playing a dead game with memories is better than a new game with new mechanics and graphics, I'll always play Minecraft, even if I get called a boomer.
Jeez I just wrote an essay about a video game, that me and my brother played together. Not anymore now because one of my controllers is stuck moving forward and the other glitches backwards.
i remember one time when i was nine or ten, me and my family left to go on a trip to florida. my dad had to stay home though because he had a surgery to help with his disease. he told me to leave my ipad at home and he promised me a surprise when i came back. so we left, he opened minecraft when i was gone, named a world “SPORTS” and made a bunch of different fields. he made a football field, a softball field with my teams name on it, a basketball court, a tennis court, a pool with a diving board, a volleyball net, probably more. he even made a theatre in the back with note blocks on different surfaces so i could play different instruments. i remembering opening up my minecraft and seeing this great present he made me and giving him the biggest hug. thanks for one of my fondest minecraft memories ever, dad. i love you so much
Minecraft isn't a game, it's an experience. That first dirt house, your first time finding diamonds, your first dog, the first redstone machine you built, just discovering things and trying to make sense of them and seeing what they do. It's something that sticks with you, even when I'm older I'm still going to look back at these memories. It's such an amazing game that's changed millions of lives, people, and basically ruled the world along with Gangnam style. Now what is Minecraft to me? Minecraft is a part of my being, I played it since I was 5 or 6. As the time of writing this I'm 16. This game raised me and my cousins. Even after Minecraft had fallen out of popularity it still just was with me. I never let it go, I may not get as much enjoyment out of it as I once did and that's mainly a personal issues thing. Truly this game is timeless, whether you're Young or Old.
Just a question. How does it feel to be an adult now? It must feel unreal that it’s been more than 10 years since those days. Good luck to anything that comes up to you P.S writing this at 10:38 pm cause I can’t sleep
Listening to this video while drawing, reading a book, or just trying to sleep brings me one of the calmest feelings I’ve ever felt. It’s this bliss, this instant relief, like I don’t have to worry about the work I have to do or the people I have to face. Just relief. My thoughts quiet down when I play this video, and I can almost cry with joy with how much it clears my mind. I hope that is something we can all share. Thank you, creator of this video, for making something we can all fall asleep to at night. And thank you, dear viewer, dear reader, for playing the game. No matter how long it’s been since you’ve touched that console, since you’ve opened up the old world, this game has left an impact on you. How important this game may be to those reading this may vary, but we can all agree that this game is a gift. Something we deserve for working so hard. As life becomes more stressful we can always count on this game, this simple yet beautiful game, to lift us up. To cheer us on. To clear our minds. So if you’re having one of your darkest days, settle. Relax, breathe. Open this video, put your headphones on or your earbuds in, and just listen. Because this is a gift. A wonderful, calming, beautiful gift. Thank you.
The last few years for me have been such a mess. It left me with C-PTSD and in extreme poverty. It’s been hard to do anything but work, worry about money, eat and sleep. I’d lost my ability to daydream or think of who I am or what I may want from life. But something about this music is helping me remember. It’s a very scary thing, to feel so detached from myself. But it is so wonderful to feel the hope of becoming reconnected. Ty for this video. Thank you a lot. 💜
the good thing about rock bottom is the only way is up. promise me youll go up do it for me a random strangr in acomment section but just keep going and everything will work out you will see the light soon enough
I listen to this every day, i have ADHD which brings me a lot of stress, when ever i listen to this every day from the past 9 months, this is the only way that has helped me. With this video made it made it possible to do good in life, Thank you so so so much.
Whenever I hear this soundtrack it's like the whole world fades out. Anything I worry about, every problem I have to face, those all just vanish and I am left in a dreamy world of peace and serenity. The raining sound just makes it feel so much real. It's very calming, nostalgic and peaceful. It is the same peace you feel as a young child, and it seems that hearing this can magically recall it. I love this video, thank you for putting it together! Most people find it really sad, but for me it has slight notes of extreme happiness when recalling the fun memories I had and at the thought that nothing is stopping me from crafting more precious memories. The world is so endless & there is so much to explore! I
I was 12 when minecraft released; and although I never managed to get into it myself, alot of my firends did. Now I'm 23, and I can't tell if the comfort of the songs is from nostalgia, the energy of the music or a longing for somewhere I've never been too; maybe all three. All i know is that if I get overwhelmed, all I need is a reminder that everything's okay - and alot of the time, minecraft can do it.
thank you for reuploading. this video is the only reason i can calm my anxiety and sleep at night. i am chronically ill&disabled and struggle with insomnia and this sleep video calms me down so much, i can sleep through the whole night and feel rested in the mornings.
*Trauma says bye-bye with this music.* Thank you for making this, it seriously helps me sleep at night and gives me such a sense of comfort. Keep it up!
This was the first ever game I seen my brother play on his Xbox 360. I saw him play with his friends so I just watched him play. 1 year later he gave me the Xbox 360 to me because he didn’t need it anymore so I played minecraft everyday by myself without knowing how to play right. 1 Year later I played minecraft with my very amazing best friend every weekend. He is the best for sticking with me through out our childhood. This gives me so much nostalgia that I even teared up again feeling like a kid. Now I am 15 years old thank you for making this video :)
The music of Mother Nature, the soft rain and cracks of thunder. The smell that fills the air, and the lights reflecting off the water. There’s just something about it. I live in the Midwest and honestly would like to move somewhere that has more rain. I love these audios though, just makes you feel a certain why that u can’t describe.
Ok im gonna be honest with you ive been listening to this video at night, every day since the start of my freshman year, i just finished it a month ago and i honestly cant thank you enough for this. I probably have at least over 200 hours of listening to ur video because i couldn't sleep at night, ur video is like a switch for me to actually rest and sleep hopefully you read this message
I'm constantly going back to this video when I'm doing anything school related. It absolutely helps me to focus and drown out all the outside sounds. I've tried a lot of different focus music, including different minecraft music, and this one is by far my favorite.
I thank C418 for making such amazing music.. Whenever I am anxious or nervous this is the only thing that calms me 😭 also tysm for uploading this... I listen to this every single day 🙌😭
I wrote my entire Personal Statement for college applications about Minecraft while listening to this. Not to brag, but it turned out pretty damn well, and it’s all thanks to this lovely video. Thanks for posting. If the Minecraft essay gets me into any super cool schools, I’ll check back here and let y’all know.
Didn’t end up applying to any braggable Ivy’s, but I got a full ride to a lovely liberal arts college I had my eye on that’s fairly prestigious. Semester’s been fantastic so far. Couldn’t have done it without good old 10 hours of relaxing rain and waterfall with minecraft music :)
i really like how they added or cry. It makes it seem way more , "natural" to cry to this music.. Ive been kinda strugling atm, reading hxh mangas and i enjoy this. Even by the sound of the water falls, reminds me where i had the msot fun of my life, aka niagara falls. this is very calmign to me, and reminds me such good memories to cry of. Rain, fall, thunder, anything that sounds sad in thempature, i love. thank you to whoever made this, its so.. calming, soothing, and "refreshing". It also reminds me whenever i have a storm in canada, like a household that always rains aha. But this is diffrent and calmer. its currently 9:50pm, and im enjoying this and rockin' it till 2am. thanks alot, sleepy, this is reno signing off.
(long ass sad rant ik) i remember the day i got minercaft, itll forever remain a core memory in my brain. My siblings and i finally convinced our mom to buy it for the each of us, we got the game about a week after it first came out. When I first loaded into the world I was amazed, my 5 year old self stared at the screen in shock. Then I figured out how to open the inventory, and I was weirded out by how few options I had to build with. But nonetheless I had tons of fun running around the world during the day, and having a borderline panic attack when it was nighttime and mobs would try and kill me. Listening to this music through every year and update, through every console update and Minecraft battle. From first buying it on an original apple iPad, and watching my favorite TH-camrs like stampy and Jen and patt, to getting older and buying a WiiU and getting to play online against others, to now as an older teen and getting to play on servers with crazy big updates. Minecraft will forever be a core piece of my childhood and life, one that I hope to pass on to my own future children. Original C418 music will always hold the ability to make me cry. -love from a not so tiny anymore gamer
this is not just a minecraft soundtrack video, it's a portal to old memories, when i start the video, there was a movie from my childhood, it's a kind of nostalgia that i never felt, thx dude (i tried to read the subtitles, but I got all confused lol) 🇧🇷
Though we have grown and no longer have time to play this masterpiece of a game we still have memories of our first diamond ,our first world maybe even our first server with our friends, although those times have passed we should be grateful for the memories we made along the way.
Thanks for reuploading this. So many things like this keep getting taken down, so it was really scary because this was the last I could find of just minecraft music, no covers. This just calms me down and just gives me a sense of "Everything's ok, you're safe now." So thank you.
This is the nostalgia most are afraid to talk about. So glad to have you people here to share this with me. It's more than just a game, it's who we are and always will be. Thankyou
Whenever I try to sleep, I always have something on my mind like loud music I listen to everyday. I try to clear it to fall asleep faster, but I can't. However, I found that calming rain and Minecraft tracks put me at ease in an instance. 💤
reading the subtitles with the music and rain make me feel calm but also nostalgic for easier times... i never knew how much i would cherish these timeless songs. minecraft also helped craft memories.
Listening to this marks certain times in my life. After great trials and tribulations the og Minecraft soundtrack has been a source of grounding and reminding me where I come from. Getting flash backs to playing it on pc when there wasn’t anything in the game at all then the trail on Xbox with that stupid trial world where I could run around for 20 mins then restart it. I think about my siblings and where they are now. Married, or going back to college they’ve changed so much but not really at all at the same time and how we’re not as close now. I think about my best friend what he’s doing and becoming in life. And I think about me and how I’ve changed. It feels so dream like to remember everything now. I don’t think about these things often unless I hear this music with these visuals. It really brings it back to me. Idk why I typed this long comment.
You know, i think turning on the Captions was thr best decision i could have made tonight. Thanks for putting in the time and effort to put that there, an unforgettable piece of minecraft history. Thank you, friend, for letting me cry tonight, i think i needed it more than i realized. Uploader, you help me sleep at night, every time i put you on. Thank you, Markus "Notch" Pierce, for finding such a wonderful writer for that poem in Julian Gough.
This video is one of the most relaxing I've ever watched. And I play many of these. Because my brain just doesnt shut off at night and I have trouble sleeping. So I listen to these. Of the ones I've heard this one is perhaps the most effective. A byproduct of this though appears to be me thinking about my past a bit. Because this is the old MC music, and I've been playing minecraft on and off for a whole decade. But eh, whatever. :)
Haha I've used this video to sleep every night for almost a year now. Cant believe how effective and calming it is. It has its own magic that keeps the music and (consequently) the video timeless. So thank you for putting this on the internet, I wish you much as much love and warmth that this video has brought me over the time
Gonna listen to this every night now. Minecraft is such a nostalgic and fun game. It may be changing, but some of the nostalgic and fun aspects of the game are still there. Also love the captions. ❤
The captions are the credits dialogue, u think..! I've never beaten Minecraft so I don't know...I've only gotten to a stronghold, that's how far I'll ever make it......! 😅
i would just like to take this time to tell you that you matter. you are loved & you are cared for. it's okay to feel, it's okay to cry. you are human & nobody is perfect. learn to love yourself & take care of yourself, learn to make yourself priority #1. life is an endless path of learning & i hope that along your path you learn you can't control a single thing in this world...BUT you can always control how you will react to it. thank you for being here, thank you for continuing to push through your hardships & i hope you achieve your dreams. oh & always make sure to eat healthy, drink water & try your best to sleep :)
It’s 2 am, today is the day of my calc final. I’m scared and anxious but I’m also surprisingly proud of myself for studying and getting to this point. I want to walk out happy and make those who supported me proud. Listening to this in bed made me realize that I find comfort in the dark and Minecraft’s music elevates that feeling, those memories of late night gaming with old friends/cousins, the laughs, conversations, and memories we had, it all came rushing in as soon as the music hit. I feel relaxed like I’m going to be okay.. I hope I pass this exam and make my worries go away and hopefully start summer after exams in the best way possible, thank you for this :)
I didn’t think the starting song would bring me to tears. It made me remember being little and playing Minecraft on the PlayStation three, mainly creative mode and just building random things and playing tumble with my brother with the rain tapping against the roof. I remember the excitement over Minecraft in school and the excitement over pocket edition. The dropper challenges, build servers and “hunger games”. Same with being horrified of the endermen because I hadn’t realized looking them in the eye scared them, so I had to beg my mom to kill them. The sizzle of a creeper, those silver fish squeaking. But nevertheless it was a memory I really needed right now, so I thank you for making this video. It feels good to step back for once.
I needed this, Minecraft music always seems to calm me down when I’m in a dark place and I hope for anyone who reads this it helps you relax and escape you’re not alone 🫶
You have a good night, and remember to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel! You won't always have to be in the dark! It may seem small at first glance but soon, that light will grow brighter! 😁✨
Same bro for me its deeply relaxing but also there is a bit sadness because i miss the good old times without bad thoughts , it so beautiful , relaxing but sith a bit if sadness for me , just filled with heart this music , the game
God. Thank you so much. This soothes me so much trying to sleep. I had a very rough car accident and I used to watch movies when I slept but the loud noises started to make me wake up or have nightmares. This is so calming and peaceful. Thank you
It’s crazy when I spend such late nights staying awake. I don’t want to say I have severe sleeping problems but let me thank you for how much this has helped me. I don’t know what it is but this puts me to sleep within 30 minutes to an hour. Thank you so much
Im so glad that this is here if not then i would not be able to fall asleep also i fall asleep to this every night its so soothing and calm i love this❤❤
I love the rain, love to see it, smell it, hear it, I love it all, but when I cant sleep, or I need to focus.... I come to this video and somehow everything falls into place. And I get some semblance of calm and it helps me do what I want/need to do. I feel like a lot of people feel the same or at the vary lest....ok when they hear this. cuz what's better than finding solace in 10 hours of relaxing Minecraft rain.
Hands down the most positive thing to come out of all humanity is the comment sections of rain sounds videos you are all exemplary human beings and you should be proud ♥️
Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve pulled that trigger on myself that night. I’ve been thru so much it feels like when I win I’m not really winning. There has been days where I wanna give up and days when I wanna keep going with life. Love and hate comes hand to hand once it’s about your mental. It’s been a hard life I don’t know if I wanna keep going or not but hearing this music helps me understand my purpose here on our tiny little blue speck in the universe called earth. Hopefully I’ll be able to find peace. Or not. Time will tell.
I don't know what you're going through and I don't know you either, but I believe things can get better, sometimes our minds get locked and only remember us the bad things we've experienced, but sitting down and remembering the good things from time to time can help us a lot, I created this video in a very delicate stage of life, one that I have managed to overcome thanks to the help of the people who cares about me. I don't know who you but I believe you can get through this very hard stage of your life if you put your mind to it... I wish you the best and I'm glad this video can help you too
Thank you so much I really needed this. I’ve been suffering from depression and it’s hard to deal with I try to keep a positive mindset but it’s hard. Thank you for your kind words
The fact that I've been playing Minecraft longer than I can remember is crazy. Back maybe 5 years ago it was a creative outlet for me. I loved creative mode as I could just build whatever I wanted. Now I just play survival since it tests my skill and encourages me to go beyond my comfort zone. Of course I still play on Hypixel and Mineplex, but it seems like I'm going through the same memories I've had before even if I can't fully remember them. Thank you for letting me remember old memories and helping me create new ones :)
it is currently 7:12 in the morning and i really dont want to get up or go anywhere sometimes i really do wish life would just pause. update jan 11th 2024 shit got worse but this video keeps me sane if time could pause for 9 hours 59 mins and 20 seconds id be the happiest guy ever hi been awhile lots of suffering lately not much left to give aug 15th 2024
This has quickly become my favorite rain/ambiance video. The music and rain aren't too loud or too soft and it's the perfect length. It's calming. Sort of helps me regulate my thoughts while I'm falling asleep :) My dog likes it too. He doesn't love the thunder that comes with other rain videos
I can still remember the first time I played Minecraft and how long ago it was. I think I was 10. I’m gonna be 22 this year. It’s crazy how time flies and we forget about the things that once gave us comfort. This game was therapy for my siblings and I as we would sit and play for hours. Killed my best friends Xbox 360 by doing that. Good times. Still remember a lot of the sessions and things I’ve built/ crazy mining moments. The nostalgia is out of this world when it comes to the music. Thank you for this beautiful video. Goodnight to all who are listening to this before bed for peace of mind. I’m right there with you ❤️
The first time i know about minecraft is in 2016, a lil bit late but it was amazing and im grateful to grow up with this beautiful childhood. I know that its not only me but some others have this vibe when listening to minecraft soundtracks too, the dream of having such a fantastic adventure just makes me cry everytime i listen to this. Thank you for this reminder
i come back to this pretty often and it’s always so comforting, my dogs sleeping right beside me and this got me pondering quite a bit, thanks minecraft
I no lies CRY when I hear old c418 minecraft music Also thx dude, this is such an amazing video. May you have an amazing life full of joy and happiness
I've been playing Minecraft since I was like 4, so when I began playing it was still fairly new and blowing up, it brings back memories of playing with my older brother, memories of when I would play alone because he wasn't in, memories of he and I fighting over who had the better house. I prefer the older version of it though, the one you can get on older consoles like the xbox 360 as that is all I have known. Minecraft will forever be my favourite game and it will continue to bring myself and millions of others comfort that some may never experience if they didn't grow up with Minecraft like we did. ❤️❤️
I remember just playing Minecraft with the all the boys, staying up late building, countless arguments about who stole what, constantly making a new world every 2 days I miss it man growing up is so bad used to hate being young and now I just want it be able to sit down and just have nothing to worry about,I just want to sit and and have fun with all my friends like we used to
This soundtrack is just my best memories from my childhood ... My first home ... many worlds, which I may not have anymore, but it will be in my mind forever
This video reminded me of Minecraft, which I used to play. In the game, while it is raining, you are at home heating food in the oven or heating iron, while also loving your pet. Minecraft is a much better game than we know!
this video has helped me tremendously. minecraft music and rain sounds are both such a comfort to me, and this combo has effectively cured my insomnia. i’m so familiar with minecraft music and playing it for hours has made it basically background noise to me, but in a good way. i have autism, so my brain tends to be hyper active and fixate on little details of music and analyze it, but it doesn’t need to analyze minecraft music. i’ve heard it so many times. plus, i love the sound of rain. the combo of auditory stimulation really helps silence my thoughts. the music and rain will fade into my dreams at times, and it’s so nice to sleep and wake up to. thank you for this video. :) you’ve helped thousands.
I remember spending so much time playing this game I was playing almost every day and night from the age of 14-17 I remember playing survival with my internet friends almost everyday and how lonely our world would feel if someone wasn’t online I’m 23 now and I still have so much love for this video game. I’m afraid the feeling won’t be the same if I start playing again. I do appreciate this video though!
Reminds me of playing minecraft with my cousins at my house when it was raining so they couldn’t walk home yet. And sleepily playing this game when I shouldn’t have. Good times
this makes me think about life, and in todays society where everything is pretty much entertaining or garbage, that is an accomplishment. thank you. this reminds me of when me and the boys got together to play this amazing game, and we would have so much fun.
this reminds me so much of me and my brother playing minecraft in the living room on our little bean bags, he would always make the most coolest builds and we used to do so many competitions in creative to see how could make the better rocket ship. Ever since we moved out of my childhood home and my dad took him with him when he left I rarely ever see him anymore and it feels so good to listen to this music and feel all those memories come back. Keep up the good work! ❤️
Kinda makes me sad listening to this because years ago when I was a lot younger when me and my siblings played it, it was the only time we got along and actually did stuff together. Thank you for making this video and bringing back these precious memory’s
I remember going to minecon when I was only 7, and meeting all the TH-camrs I'd always watched, now I'm 14, I always played Minecraft every day after school and watched Dantdm and stampy, now me hearing this everynight just wants to make me cry, I just wish I can go back to those days...
The comfort this game brought me when I thought I was going through it as a kid. When my parents were fighting, when my cousin called me short, when I lost a littlest pet shop, when my favorite Disney or nick show stopped airing, etc. this game was always there. I didn’t even care all of my cousins and friends had iPads and I had a kindle fire all I cared about was playing and having fun with my family. We would build houses and get in fights. We would log on to the servers and play hunger games. We would sit and play for hours on end never getting bored. Now you can say “oh well it was just because you were a kid” but I think it goes deeper than that. I think the game itself, in its time was like therapy for me and a lot of other gen z kids. I mean first off you could play it no matter when or where and second off you had all of your favorite TH-camrs uploading daily minecraft let’s plays. Ah the good ol days. I mean my parents did about 60% of the job but the other 40% goes to the TH-camrs who raised me back then. I still quote some of my very favorite minecraft series. I felt connected to these people like they were my friends. I didn’t have many growing up and I’ve always been “weird” so to see TH-camrs playing my favorite game was comforting. It helped me become more comfortable with myself and start making friends. I owe my entire childhood to mojang and TH-camrs in the early 2010s. It makes me sad that minecraft isn’t the same as it used to be and I think what they’ve done with the game is amazing and it’s great for the new generation of kids growing up but I just wish sometimes I could wake up at my cousins house and get on my moms kindle fire and log onto my simple survival world. I sometimes wish I could log onto TH-cam and my recommendation would just be countless DanTDM videos, and SevenSuperGirls room tours, Draw My Life’s, IhasCupquake minecraft oasis, and don’t let me forget about PopularMMOS. My dream then was to be a minecraft youtuber with a huge fan base of kids just like me who didn’t have alot of friends and just loved to play minecraft. I could talk about this game forever. I don’t play minecraft anymore but it will forever hold a special place in my heart. The memories I made playing this game will never, ever be forgotten. Thank you, minecraft.
i’ve been listening to this video before sleep i think about about two months after it’s initial release, and i still listen to it to fall asleep or for background music, and i can’t tell you how lovely this video is, especially with how dark the scenery is, the rain, the thunder, it’s all just so ugh. thank u creator for releasing this beauty and i hope it never gets taken down ❤️
The fact that this still brings me comfort, years and years later, shows just how much of an impact this game has had on everyone’s lives. Something that will hopefully never fade away.

I have never played this game, but my kids like to and I noticed how relaxing the music is. I'm so glad TH-cam has these soundtracks.
this game is the definition of nostalgia, I have been and I still am growing up with Minecraft, memories of the past of this game can really make one emotional, most people see this game and would say it’s a kids game, but it’s much, much more than that. I love this game, the soundtracks make my heart calm and full of a happy sad feeling, this game has given so many memories I will not forget, I could never thank the creators of Minecraft and it’s soundtrack, I won’t ever forget this game :)
Its crazy to think almost everyone finds peace in rain, and in such music. What a wonder.
Cool

This brings back a lot of memories, thanks dude
i remember being scared of abandoned mineshafts and spawners. im still scared of cave sounds. lol.
I most hold on to Minecraft with memories of my mum and playing with friends, ahh the good times :') ♡

Actually that sounds like it would be a great way to start a conversation with someone you want to talk to but never thought you could because you had nothing in common. anyways I hope you all have a nice day or night don’t forget you all are awesome and loved bye 💖
i hope you are having an amazing day or night
I've been playing over 10 years, since i was in middle school
I'm 23 now, still have my own little world in minecraft
The new updates are incredible, so glad this game continues to be timeless

Saw the subtitles n already the flood of emotions came running. Personally for me Minecraft music has this way of being super peaceful where it can calm me down but also a way for me to cry when I need too. I have a bit of an emotional bond with the game n music it being there for me when I was lonely. The game and music feel like a long lost friend, except it's just their spirit sitting beside me comforting me the best they can not being able to say anything. I love vids like this cuz I can play it in the back while I sleep or need to calm down or just while I'm doing other stuff. :))
I didn't even notice the subtitles, good call-out
@@agamemnon7518 bro I was reading the subtitles the entire time till I fell asleep
I have never related to an opinion like yours... just wow😭
I like to think that that nice, warm feeling is relief. Relief from stress, relief from your troubles, relief from your thoughts. Just this.. bliss
I... Never knew how to put this in words... And you just did... Thank you...
The most simple explanation, yet it's so perfect... 😌

Jeez I just wrote an essay about a video game,
that me and my brother played together.

Beautiful words....

Just a question. How does it feel to be an adult now? It must feel unreal that it’s been more than 10 years since those days. Good luck to anything that comes up to you

thank you for putting it into perspective that there is even more memories to make and so much to explore and that it isnt over.

Though we have grown and no longer have time to play this masterpiece of a game we still have memories of our first diamond ,our first world maybe even our first server with our friends, although those times have passed we should be grateful for the memories we made along the way.

reading the subtitles with the music and rain make me feel calm but also nostalgic for easier times... i never knew how much i would cherish these timeless songs. minecraft also helped craft memories.
I’m actually about to cry right now. This game was so much of my childhood and I get extremely sad knowing all of those times are over
Listening to this marks certain times in my life.

Today has been a really tough day.
Atleast I can retreat here and melt away my sorrows into my sleep.
Thank you buddy for this upload!
Good nighg
i come back to this pretty often and it’s always so comforting, my dogs sleeping right beside me and this got me pondering quite a bit, thanks minecraft
I no lies CRY when I hear old c418 minecraft music
Also thx dude, this is such an amazing video. May you have an amazing life full of joy and happiness
Omg thx dude for hearting the comment you really didn't have to!
The stairs and the lava falling off the cliff give me extreme nostalgia. Thank you for posting this.
I appreciate you going through the effort of making dialogue in the captions. It's such a beautiful yet small detail that a lot of creators don't do.
I’ve been playing Minecraft since 2017 , those were the best times of my life I miss the good old days
The video and classic music makes me think of me playing the pocket edition on my old iPod Touch in 2013. Good times.
I had a anxiety attack just now and this helped is helping me feel better afterwards
I remember spending so much time playing this game I was playing almost every day and night from the age of 14-17
I remember playing survival with my internet friends almost everyday and how lonely our world would feel if someone wasn’t online
I’m 23 now and I still have so much love for this video game.
Had the worst few days this is the only thing to calm me down. Thank you
I remember going to minecon when I was only 7, and meeting all the TH-camrs I'd always watched, now I'm 14, I always played Minecraft every day after school and watched Dantdm and stampy, now me hearing this everynight just wants to make me cry, I just wish I can go back to those days...
Thank you, minecraft.
i’ve been listening to this video before sleep i think about about two months after it’s initial release, and i still listen to it to fall asleep or for background music, and i can’t tell you how lovely this video is, especially with how dark the scenery is, the rain, the thunder, it’s all just so ugh. thank u creator for releasing this beauty and i hope it never gets taken down ❤️
Glad you like it and thanks for the support!
This has been helping me get to sleep through a really rough time in my life, thank u so much for sharing this and for making it ad free
