- Does a battery-powered snow blower have enough power to clear our deck? We tested it on December 2, 2019 after the storm that hit Massachusetts and most other parts of the country. [This video was made for a Ryobi 'Review to Win' giveaway.]
Why didn't Jessica smile? I will smile for her :-)
On this particular day it was a little less than a foot.
You happy with it after one year?
My wife used it on the driveway in the latest storm... she did the entire driveway TWICE in one day. (She did it instead of me because I had a hip replacement and can't walk yet.) Once the batteries get used up it takes 2-3 hours to recharge them. The charger does one battery at a time and both batteries must be installed in the snowblower for it to work. The pile of snow from the street snowplow at the end of the driveway at the street was too much for the Ryobi to handle, however.
@@youtubedavidprice the end of the driveway is too much for most snowblowers. I’m fine shoveling that small bit though. Thanks! Hope you get better soon.
@@bkelevate Thanks for the get well wishes. It's now 10 months later and I just had a SECOND hip replacement! But this year I'll be clearing the snow because Jessica will be recovering from back surgery in December. I'm glad the snow blower is lightweight.
That's about one foot depth ?
