MAAAN I remember the original version in 1995. I was so deeply in love with this one gal named Debra Jean Taylor. She may not be here with us anymore, but whenever I hear this song it takes me back to her. Rest in Peace Debra.
Just gave this EP two spins in a row. And this was definitely the RAWEST record off this joint. Maybe because it didn't stray to far from the original track..? Which was one of my top faves off that classic LP. I love how she edited her herself at the end from a more mature Faith perspective. "Aight.... I'm good." Instead of the younger Brick City version of herself when she said "Aight F*** It!"
VW DT - DO YOU KNOW this song, they original, just came on via my music library's shuffle and i just happened to hear what she said at the very end and was like "😳 WHAT?!" I went back like 5 times then i googled the song. Came here to check comments, to see if i was the only one who caught it. Mind you, this is after YEARS of me listening to this song!! 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿 for you catching the original and comparing it to the updated ending. That's true attention to detail!
Love this remake, especially at the end when she said" Alright I'm good" . Instead of " Aigght **** It!lol on the original track That was cute and funny!🤭☺️❤❤🔊
Only real difference is the the fallin adlib she did before the first verse. And she said alright instead of fuck it at the end. And obviously her more darker and raspier voice.
Omg it's been years since I've heard this version! My Mother brought me the album back in 95' from Sam Goody!!
