I only heard of the original name recently in a comment to the clip of The Al Jolson Story and after a little research I fortunately ended here. I like this rendition as an arrangement for listening to. This is not a criticism but what originally attracted me to that version of the piece is that it's 3/4 and I went to Latin and Modern classes years ago. I like a piece for dance to flow at the same tempo throughout. More experienced and professional dancers can cope with such changes and interruptions and can coreograph their performance accordingly. I only attended a couple of leisure classes for a total of a bit over 2 years. It is one of my regrets that I didn't learn to play an instrument while at school. I've had operations for Dupuytren's contracture to both hands with a further op to go when routine surgery recommences. I'm considering the guitar after that because my left hand is better than the right. This will only be for personal interest and, hopefully, satisfaction. Thank you for this performance.
