भूल पाए न तुझे आज भी रोने वाले
तू कहाँ है मिरी आँखों को भिगोने वाले
हम किसी ग़ैर के हो जाएँ ये मुमकिन ही नहीं
और तुम तो कभी अपने नहीं होने वाले
सोचते हैं कि कहाँ जा के तलाशें उन को
हम को कुछ दोस्त मिले थे कभी खोने वाले
रेत के जैसा है अब तो ये मुक़द्दर मेरा
ख़ुद बिखर जाएँगे अब मुझ को पिरोने वाले
दर्द और अश्क ज़माने में अज़ल से हैं वही
सिर्फ़ बदले हैं हर इक दौर में रोने वाले
पेड़ को अपना ही साया नहीं मिलता लोगो
फ़स्ल अपनी कभी पाते नहीं बोने वाले
दर्द ग़ैरों का भला कौन उठाता है 'सहाब'
सब यहाँ ख़ुद की सलीबों को हैं ढोने वाले

Shukriya sher is tarah nahin kahe jaate janaab .usmen qafiya,Radeef aur tarkeeb e alfaaz sab ka dhyan rakhna hota hai .rulaane waale likhte hi arth ka anarth ho jaayega :)

All our worldly desires die down when the intoxicating and therapeutic voice of Rajesh Saheb touches the brain. Our soul is flooded with joy when we listen to him. For some moments, we forget to breathe and blink while we hear him.
After listening to his ghazals and songs, we feel as if we are landing at an oasis of peace while voyaging through troubled waters in the Black Sea on a dark and stormy night. We feel some hidden hands are taking us away from the climate of consuming fear and pulling us out of the depth of darkness the voyage is taking us into. It nourishes the broken mind; it nurtures the wounded heart.
Thank you, Rajesh Saheb. Your voice will always resonate in our ears, head, and heart. It makes our emotions and joy tower high.

It is so beautifully written and sung that I am virtually dumbfounded, with no words to express the impact it created in my heartbeats. How can someone write with this intensity and how can someone sing so emotionally devoid of any tantrums but with purest feelings .to me its the essence of what a ghazal stands for . And the very apt usage of the great Sahir couplets made it even more emotional . My blessings and love to these great artists

Your persuasive voice leaves me dreamy and locks me in a woken paralysis with unblinking eyes and mesmerized mind, Rajesh Saheb. It drugs and drifts me off onto an imaginary planet far away from this ruthless and wicked world. Please take me there away from this crowd of dead companions and breathing corpses - at least for some moments. Of course for some moments only. Thanks a lot.
