The real reason people don’t prefer these as a second hand car is that - it has very high possibility that the seller is selling due to sudden failure of an expensive part - which will burn the pocket of a second hand buyer.

This car saved my life 2 times..very sturdy & strong mechanism & absolutely safe..Bought it 5 years back..93000 driven..let me tell you it's very comfortable even if you drive 1000 km in a day..service cost is around 7000 in 6 months (outside).even in company it's 13000.

Youp never regret owning a Skoda rapid. Even I had to change the suspension because I travel in industrial places more often and that too around 130,000kms which is great when compared to Suzuki or Tata. The ride quality and comfort on highway. I've travelled to Kerala for like 4-5 times in 5 years from Mumbai and trust me this car has always performed beyond our expectations. The stability which the car provides at high speed it will amaze you for sure. And as this guy spoke about the music system. It's top notch be it classical music or heavy bass music, you'll surely move your head through and fro.
My car is over 5years now and 170,000 Kms driven and just minor changes done so far....

Own the 2014 rapid. Have done entire Himachal, Uttarakhand & other states in this car. It's engine is an absolute beauty. Only one service required in year. Service cost is maximum 10K including engine oil. Average is 19-20 kms. Very stable even at 140 kmp. Taken this car in spiti circuit.

We have two skoda rapid in my family one 2014 and second 2017 model maintenance cost is only 8500/- per year or 15000 kms. We have run 185000 kms 2014 model. It is very comfortable in hills and in all roads. It is safest car.

Meri gadi ka review kar lo. 10.5 sal, 1,52,000 kms chali hai, original music system, paint aur shandar maintained aur jabar bhagti hai. Bas steering ghanha tight hai, Palio jaisa. Petrol 1.2 bhi highway pe 22.5 deti hai. Music system original, aj bhi thaan bajte hain. Bhai, mere suspension 1.2 lacs pe badle the, tyres 92k pe isliye badalwaye the, ye soch ke ki family ke sath chalna hai aur tyre hi bachate hain brales marne pe slippery roads .

I bought a Vento Diesel top model in 2011 and sold the same in 2020 after driving of 125000 kilo meters. In almost 10 years of ownership I spend approx 147000. This includes all servicing and all replacement of defective/ consumables parts including tyres. I Bought it for 9.7 lacs and sold the same for 2.35 lacs.
I have skoda Octavia and Volkswagen polo bhai dam nikal jata hai maintain karte karte but one thing ye gadiya safe hai performance, handling mai sabse best hai highway pe kitni bhi fast chalao kabhi feel nahi hoga ki gadi control lose kar degi once you go for skoda and vw you will never go for any other brands
Same case goes with my volkswagen vento 1.6 tdi
