From Campitello di Fassa to the Alpe di Tires Refuge along the spectacular Val Duron

An itinerary full of breathtaking landscapes that from Campitello di Fassa will take you to the limits of the Alpe di Siusi.
Very long hike, but fascinating for alpine landscapes. Lovers of nature and landscape photography will feel in paradise; the most beautiful part is from the Rifugio Micheluzzi onwards. Animals are also human, in the sense that they allow themselves to be close enough to take a good picture. For example, with marmots you get to about ten to twenty meters. Arriving at the Alpe di Tires refuge you will have a fairytale landscape on the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto: if you have time, take a time-lapse, it's worth it.
ITINERARY
From Campitello di Fassa (1426 m) take the paved road towards Val Duron. After a while the road becomes a dirt road and you follow it up to the Rifugio Micheluzzi (1860 m). Here the real path begins: take trail marker 532. Going up gradually you will come across the Brach hut, the Miravalle hut and the Docoldaura hut. Arriving at the last hut, the path becomes steep until you reach Passo Duron (2168 m). Here we turn left, path 594, and climb to an altitude of 2440 m where we will find the Rifugio Alpe di Tire.
We return along the same path.
