This is a very bad practice of the government. Every now and then they announce reductions for offenders. No wonder people don't care about committing traffic offences, not paying them and waiting for reduced rates. Say the government imposes penalties for non-payment or late payments like a surcharge or making it very hard for people that owe summonses to renew road tax and licence. The mindset will be different!

I agreed . Government has given these offenders enough chances , why is it never ending that there are still so much fine not collected . I paid my fine immediately, without discount .
Hope government inform these offenders that this will be final chance . After that , all offences have to be paid or take them to court .

Stop mollycoddling these traffic offenders .
This only encourages them to break traffic rules with impunity knowing that there are no serious consequences to face .
No wonder accidents are increasing on our roads .

Bukankah JPJ/PDRM/PBT mesti hantar notis saman terlebih dahulu?

There have been a court case in which it was ruled that the Transport Department cannot withhold renewal of road tax or driving licenses if car owner did not pay summons. Loke does not know the law.
