Surah Al-Fajr - Part 1 - Day 13 - Ramadan with the Quran

The opening oaths of Surah Al-Fajr have been the subject of over 30 different interpretations. In this video, Ustadh Nouman outlines some of them, but focuses primarily on the one he believes is the most compelling; that these ayat are a reference to the Hajj. Here, he says, Allah evokes the spirit of the Hajj, that momentous occasion when we leave everything behind - money, status, ego - to stand before Allah, materially and spiritually naked. The day of nahr (sacrifice) is the culmination of 10 days of struggle performing the Hajj rituals, and marks the moment when we are cleansed of all our sins, ready to start a new life on the path of Allah.

Our Prophet “ﷺ"said ( "Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death."

I think it is safer to declare that we do not understand the four oaths as of now, rather than trying to make up reasons or stretched meanings to them. By admitting that we do not understand them, we open the door to further research. For example, the 'break of morning'. Maybe there is some cosmological forces or magnetic forces or light wavelength effect on humans or on earth that is waiting for us to discover.

I read an interpretation that is so logical.
Fajr: is refering to the big bang and the creation of the universe (fajr means explosion in arabic)
Wa layalin ashr: refers to the 10 stages of the photons in the dark to become light
wa shafii wa alwatr: even and odd refers to the H20, two molecules of hydrogen + one molecule of oxygen which are the first element created in the universe.
May allah guide us to find the right interpretation.
