Perez Art Museum is a must do in Downtown Miami. Let's do a quick walk-through of the permanent Art and experience LOVE IS CALLING an immersive installation by Artist Yayoi Kusama. Every Second Saturday of the Month offers FREE admission for all and free art supplies are available to create your very own work of art.
This visit was special for us because this is what we do on second Saturday's and it was the perfect destination to experience the Solar Eclipse. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day and that was pushed back as the second best thing. Why, you ask? LOVE IS CALLING of course. What a pleasant surprise to have experienced that installation. My daughter was teaching me about the artist and had the best time taking it all in.
TIPS: If you are driving, get to the museum early for guaranteed parking in the parking garage under the museum and get a reservation time slot for the installation. Only a select number of guests can walk through the exhibit and it books up.
