My grandmother pulled over and offered to give him a ride and he got in the car. The thing is my grandmother had her son (my dad) and 3 other boys in the backseat. So, in the hallway, with everyone milling around, she asked a guy to walk her out to her car. That guy was Ted Bundy. He walked her out to her car, and she got in, drove off, and was safe, not because the guy she asked was trustworthy, but because SHE ASKED HIM IN THE PRESENCE OF OTHERS. If he'd killed her after walking her out, everyone would have known it was him. Letting it be known that she asked him to walk her out saved this woman's life. Scary and cool at the same time. (And yes, my dad is a Utah baby from Utah parents in the Salt Lake City area, so it's not this absurd thing. Salt Lake City isn't that big, and it was even smaller at the time.)

Women, always protect yourself. No matter how charismatic a man may seem....a stranger is a stranger . Rip to all these women who lost their lives so young.
He was arrested for a traffic violation and during a a search of his car they found what was assumed to be a burglary kit. They then linked his discription and the car to the kidnapping of Carol Daronch. Crazy!
Interesting fact: my mom was almost one of Ted Bundy’s victims, but something stopped her from “helping” him. She said something in her head shouted “no” when she stepped towards him and she listened to that voice. She was about in her late teens at the time. She didn’t know who he was until a couple years later when she saw him on the news and recognized him.
He wasn't "parked outside of a house at 3am" He was driving down the street with his headlights off at closer to 2am. Why have so much misinformation when a simple Google search would correct you?
The officers weren't looking for him specifically, they just saw a vehicle with no headlights that matched the description and arrested him when he tried to flee. Standard practice.
Same with the "he attacked 5 people in Florida, killing three of them" When really he attacked 6. 4 sorority girls in chi omega, killing 2 of them, then the one girl several blocks away just a bit after who survived, and days/weeks later, Kimberly, the 12 year old girl he abducted
LEFT HOOK LARRY go ask the detective who pulled him over, ted was stopped headlights off next to the curb on the right side of the street where a few young women happened to live. Ted got spooked and didn’t think it was a cop and took off, gave a good little race too.
interesting fact: I was in a car with Ted Bundy one day when suddenly he asked me to step out of the vehicle with no explanation. I got pissed, removed all my facebooks and ripped all the photos. The next day I heard that Ted Bundy had died, as he had driven into a wall. Ted Bundy has noticed there was a wall in front of us, had stopped the car, and saved my life, before he had driven into the wall.
I read the story of a woman who accepted a ride from him and got really scared because he told her that she wasn’t going to make it to her destination. There was no handle on her door so she couldn’t jump out. He asked her to take her hat off, and when she did he realized she had really short hair and started screaming at her and left her on the side of the road. He liked murdering women with long brown hair. Her haircut saves her life!
I also learned that they linked him to some other evidence. He had bitten a victim on her breast or arm (dont remember) and they matched that set of teeth marks that was found on the body of one of his victims. He had bitten her buttcheeck and he actually took out a chunk of meat.
theStarvingArtist_Steph Plot twist. Bundy wasn’t executed and escaped. He got face tattoos and a whole new personality and all his family are just to help cover him up.
Lol nice video, but is the voice filter trying to rip off all those automated voices in the true crime videos on TH-cam? It sounds lame and is distracting as hell, sorry.
my dad told me about this girl who worked with Bundy at the suicide crisis hotline. she was writing a book about the killings that Ted Bundy had committed, but didn't realize it was Ted Bundy yet. super super weird coincidence.
Emma Kuhlmann Yes that was Ann Rule the true crime writer. She was commissioned to write a book about the girls who’d gone missing up the west coast. She worked for a suicide helpline Bundy worked along side her. And then he was arrested she couldn’t believe he was her friend and she’d worked along side him. The book is a magnificent read The Stranger beside Me by Ann Rule.
Y M She had no idea it was her friend who was committing these murders. She was initially commissioned to write a book on the girls going missing, then her work colleague Ted was arrested, and Ann couldn’t believe it, because he worked at a suicide helpline saving people’s lives, typical of psychopathic narcissist. To be seen to be doing good
I dont know if someone at buzzfeed will see this, but a lot of the times the serial killer is the one focused on and their victims forgotten. If you ever do on of these again please read a list of the names of the victims. These are people that were harmed and they should never be forgotten
Well, some people might like sports but not care so much about serial killers. Not everything can cater to everyone watching after all, and a lot of people did enjoy the sports conspiracies. I think we're being too hard on this channel and on Shane and Ryan because it seems like no matter what they someone is going to be complaining about it in the comments.
My step sister’s aunt was best friends with Ted Bundy while he lived in Utah. They went to college together. She said he was super kind and charming. But never was aggressive towards her or anything like that. It’s scary to look back though and realize that same man killed so many women.
My cousin’s friend who had a sister, her daughter met Ted Bundy at a Dominoes Pizza in 1899, she shook hands with him and he offered her a slice of pizza. She’s so lucky to be alive #blessed
Thomas Jefferson sorry, that can’t happen. Buzzfeed owns all rights to Unsolved. If Ryan and Shane tried to do it independently, they would be sued to high heaven.
Jared Mitchener but buzzfeed owned all of the rights to the Try Guys, and the Try guys manage to pay them enough to be able to buy it from them. So I bet unsolved can do the exact same thing. But I will agree that it would be an insane amount of money.
Music_is_Calming uhhh they could get sponsors.... Like square space, Audible, etc. Or they could get a patreon... if other youtubers can do it, then I am 100% sure unsolved can do it to if they went solo. A lot of people love their videos. I have faith in them that they could do it since they already have a following, knows how to edit, and they probably have a ton of connections through buzzfeed. So it really would not be difficult at all for their trips to be funded.

Who came here after zac efrons new film on the life of ted bundy?!
Wut film.
Is it out now??
Letho of Gulet Watch the trailer
I can't find the full version anywhere
I still don’t understand where am i supposed to watch the movie
He was arrested for a traffic violation and during a a search of his car they found what was assumed to be a burglary kit. They then linked his discription and the car to the kidnapping of Carol Daronch. Crazy!
Interesting fact: my mom was almost one of Ted Bundy’s victims, but something stopped her from “helping” him. She said something in her head shouted “no” when she stepped towards him and she listened to that voice. She was about in her late teens at the time. She didn’t know who he was until a couple years later when she saw him on the news and recognized him.
Jamie thats what I call a Smart Woman
@@cristinaestrella: It's just common sense really
My Boi apparently the so called forty other victims didn't have common sense ;-;
Jamie same thing happened with me, I am 7
Jamie smh I wanna believe you but I’m spectral
He wasn't "parked outside of a house at 3am"
He was driving down the street with his headlights off at closer to 2am.
Why have so much misinformation when a simple Google search would correct you?
The officers weren't looking for him specifically, they just saw a vehicle with no headlights that matched the description and arrested him when he tried to flee.
Standard practice.
Same with the "he attacked 5 people in Florida, killing three of them"
When really he attacked 6. 4 sorority girls in chi omega, killing 2 of them, then the one girl several blocks away just a bit after who survived, and days/weeks later, Kimberly, the 12 year old girl he abducted
@@philp3786 Chi Omega sounds like a drink you'd get at Starbucks.
LEFT HOOK LARRY go ask the detective who pulled him over, ted was stopped headlights off next to the curb on the right side of the street where a few young women happened to live. Ted got spooked and didn’t think it was a cop and took off, gave a good little race too.
These comments be like “My mom uncle’s great aunt cat scratched a dog that Ted Bundy stepped in his feces. She’s lucky to be alive today”
Lol the best one way!
I laughed so hard, lol🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅
I enjoy videos like this but the voiceover is overkill
Uh...I truly enjoy the voice of the narrator !
@@JerichoMile4 you're one in a million bro
Best thing Buzz feed has created
yeah, I cant even with the ladylike stuff, but unsolved is pretty friggin good
I think Worth It and Try Guys are also pretty good, but Unsolved is the best
Brian Twiss Try guys aren’t buzzfeed though
Moon Child They started out as Buzzfeed but left
Never watch Unsolved Mysteries.
interesting fact:
I was in a car with Ted Bundy one day when suddenly he asked me to step out of the vehicle with no explanation.
I got pissed, removed all my facebooks and ripped all the photos. The next day I heard that Ted Bundy had died, as he had driven into a wall. Ted Bundy has noticed there was a wall in front of us, had stopped the car, and saved my life, before he had driven into the wall.
wtf r u saying?
This is true, I was the Facebook
rubbish
I honestly can’t tell if you’re joking
I'mfor y'all saying that this is fake it's real I saw it on Instagram and twitter
I know every single detail about this, but I'm still gonna watch. #SerialKillersSeries pleaseeeeee!!!

Best thing Buzzfeed has created
Best thing they ever will
I read the story of a woman who accepted a ride from him and got really scared because he told her that she wasn’t going to make it to her destination. There was no handle on her door so she couldn’t jump out. He asked her to take her hat off, and when she did he realized she had really short hair and started screaming at her and left her on the side of the road. He liked murdering women with long brown hair. Her haircut saves her life!
THE VOICE IS SO CREEPY WTH
Stardust ikr. It makes the video even better tho
Fuckin markiplier on steroids
No no no. His voice is only creepy cause we know what he did. The issue is that while composed his voice and looks where ever so charming
deadass lol I wish they'd use a normal voice
Its actually annoying, not even creepy
I think this channel should start a new series called "BuzzFeed *Solved* "
"many woman"
Really, Buzzfeed? You can't even use "women" correctly?
theyre human too
Damn it’s just one mistake you act like you’ve never made a grammarly mistake
feminazi
@@ndelgado13 I triple check everything I type, write, and text.
@@pv1549 Nope. Just a grammar nazi.
I also learned that they linked him to some other evidence. He had bitten a victim on her breast or arm (dont remember) and they matched that set of teeth marks that was found on the body of one of his victims. He had bitten her buttcheeck and he actually took out a chunk of meat.
It's funny but comparing teeth marks to dental records are actually one of the the least reliable forms of evidence out there
Also really new at the time, it was hotly contested in his trial.
teeth marks _are_ the least reliable form of evidence. Worse than lie detector tests. edit: lmao i wonder how many lives Maury ruined with those.
I've read that teeth marks are a very inaccurate science, therefore unreliable.
sheyla diaz wow
I cant get over how much ted bundy looks like sexy vegan from dr. Phil
theStarvingArtist_Steph Plot twist. Bundy wasn’t executed and escaped. He got face tattoos and a whole new personality and all his family are just to help cover him up.
😂😂😂
Lola Green we need to get shane dawson on this asap
theStarvingArtist_Steph I’m calling him right now
Thanks, I hate it
Who else is waiting for him to appear on Netflix' Mindhunter ??
Aayush Chandra ✋✋✋
I’m just waiting for a new season I seear
CAN'T WAIT
The title should be how they caught him 3 times
My mom's friend's owner's landowner's dog ran past ted bundy once. Scary.
Lol nice video, but is the voice filter trying to rip off all those automated voices in the true crime videos on TH-cam? It sounds lame and is distracting as hell, sorry.
am i the only one who think that him and zac efron look NOTHING alike? everyone is saying it was a perfect match but like... no no no
megan look at the two when zac has his beard.
Who the hell is Zach Efron?
@@juicepick7131 he played Troy in High School Musical
its only because he's zac efron and people will support anything he does
I agree, but he did a great job in the movie.
everyone In the comments: everyone in the comments: everyone in the comments: my mum met Ted
why the hell did they put a voice changer on the narrator ?
Because Ted's son is still a live, and when he hears the narrator voice, he might chase him down!
Because he's Ted Bundy
My teacher once told me that her mom was stalked by ted Bundy and didn't know it was him until she saw the news and recognized him
my dad told me about this girl who worked with Bundy at the suicide crisis hotline. she was writing a book about the killings that Ted Bundy had committed, but didn't realize it was Ted Bundy yet. super super weird coincidence.
Suuree
@@Yzzo1 Anne Rule "Stranger Beside Me"
Yea coincidence
Emma Kuhlmann
Yes that was Ann Rule the true crime writer. She was commissioned to write a book about the girls who’d gone missing up the west coast. She worked for a suicide helpline Bundy worked along side her. And then he was arrested she couldn’t believe he was her friend and she’d worked along side him.
The book is a magnificent read
The Stranger beside Me by
Ann Rule.
Y M
She had no idea it was her friend who was committing these murders. She was initially commissioned to write a book on the girls going missing, then her work colleague Ted was arrested, and Ann couldn’t believe it, because he worked at a suicide helpline saving people’s lives, typical of psychopathic narcissist. To be seen to be doing good
It’s nice to see you get your info from Wikipedia
Peak of journalism
Why does the voice-over sound like Spider-Man during interrogation mode 😂
XD
"I'm a man"
I dont know if someone at buzzfeed will see this, but a lot of the times the serial killer is the one focused on and their victims forgotten. If you ever do on of these again please read a list of the names of the victims. These are people that were harmed and they should never be forgotten
Sweet Solitude ted bundy is believed to have killed over 100 people...
Chris Marsden But there’s a list of confirmed killings, and there’s no harm in including that list out of respect for the lives that were lost
No
My neighbors cat (London) kills things, my neighbor calls him call Ted Bundy.
Zack effron looks different in this
Did you seriously not know who Ted Bundy was before zac
Dr. Pepper • 76 years ago . Do you seriously not understand the concept of a joke?
Spongebob be like-
“Ah, Ted bundy. I have a friend, who has a friend, who has a friend, that has a cousin, that met ted bundy”
I was interrupted by a Grinch Trailer. I'm very disappointed.
At least this is better than those sport conspiracies.
Rhiannon May Was looking for this comment
Amen! I don’t like the sports conspiracies. They don’t hold my attention
Damn straight xD
Why do people on this channel hate sports so much??
Look at those eyes, he's got the crazy eyes for sure. How did people not see that.
Confirmatory bias
My step sister’s aunt was best friends with Ted Bundy while he lived in Utah. They went to college together. She said he was super kind and charming. But never was aggressive towards her or anything like that. It’s scary to look back though and realize that same man killed so many women.
“Killing many woman”
Who came here after watching the Netflix documentary???
Please continue to do this kind of SEGMENT please this is awesome yet so interesting!!
“Many woman”
He pretty much got caught for being a bad driver which led to them finding out about everything
Wow o-o I'm shocked! Also ily guys so much! You put so much hard work into these videos just to entertain ppl, thank you! 😁

Why why the voice !!!!???!?!!
For aesthetic and to set the mood
My cousin’s friend who had a sister, her daughter met Ted Bundy at a Dominoes Pizza in 1899, she shook hands with him and he offered her a slice of pizza. She’s so lucky to be alive #blessed
peter porker ur so funny
they should be independent like the try guys!
@@mandybennett22 yes cause i bet Unsolved will cost *A L O T*
@@mandybennett22 but how will they fund all their trips
Music_is_Calming uhhh they could get sponsors.... Like square space, Audible, etc. Or they could get a patreon... if other youtubers can do it, then I am 100% sure unsolved can do it to if they went solo. A lot of people love their videos. I have faith in them that they could do it since they already have a following, knows how to edit, and they probably have a ton of connections through buzzfeed. So it really would not be difficult at all for their trips to be funded.
New series
Loving it
Him explaining how people we see in our day to day lives could be murderers still has me shooketh
OHHHH YEAH MY COUSINS COUSINS UNCLES BROTHERS MOM MET HIM BACK IN 1823 IT WAS A FULL MOON AND HE TURNED INTO A WEREWOLF SHES SO LUCKY SHE GOT AWAY SHE COULD HAVE DIED !!
