As everybody took their place in the shape of a half-moon on the shores, the stars started to appear in the sky. "When the light fades, the waves will bend to the will of the wielder." Gyro mumbled under his breath. They exchanged a final look with each other before starting to move, executing the ancient ritual they found in the Nightmare Woods. The waves split open and twirled up into the sky, creating an unbelievable sight, opening a gate that was about to be closed forever. "This is it! Do it!" Phyros shouted. And without thinking about it for another second, Gyro would throw the Dark Shard into the water. In a matter of moments, the water started to freeze. "Come on, faster!" Phyros shouted again as the group started to move faster, speeding up the process. When the shard finally disappeared underneath the waves, Gyro finished the spell. "Here lies the Tear of Umbra! Forever to be sealed away underneath the waves of Statera! I, Gyro Custos, Protector of Statera, Disbander of the Circle, will make it so! Until someone with the heart of Lux and the mind of Null proves worthy, this vault will not open again! Cease!" Gyro chanted at the waves, the gate rapidly closing before them until the waves quieted down again before them. And with that the sun left the horizon.
this wave reminded me of the one that crushed me against some cliffs at La Jolla Cove Jan '83. I was training for the 84 Olympics (italian swimmer) and the dream suddently vanished...but I came out of it alive and kept charging through life. Fear of death does not prevent you from dying but stops you from living!! Charge on.
