The police do the same thing where I live. If you get pulled over , you can expect at least 2 more patrol cars. They will scare you death with the way the walk around your vehicle. It’s a very unnerving situation to be in.
I've noticed whenever one officer openly displays his or her lack of knowledge of the law, or lack of proper training, sometimes other officers like to chime in, demonstrating their need for further education and training as well. I suppose that kind of officer believes all one need do to be a law enforcement officer is be a jerk or a-hole. Well, that is a tried and true paradigm that sometimes works. Of course, it goes without saying, a professional would welcome further training and education and not rely solely on primitive instincts and unwarranted intimidation.
No level of training can stop this. It’s a personality issue and can only be fixed with consequences. When the one cop says he is ordering him to leave, there will be no negative result to him.
