life hack if you don't want to lower your acceptance rate just let the timer run out and dont decline i just started doin this ..you can still pick what u want and your rate will work its way back up
i am in columbus ohio with over 2900 deliveries and have not seen a challenge in over 6 months. if you do 20 deliveries for 200 xtra thats 10$ a delivery i would eat that shit up. here in columbus ohio i am seeing alot of out of state plates dashing and they cant drive and are always in my way, we turn right on red in ohio...... go back to your own state and get off my deliveries
I have short-term memory loss so to keep myself from forgetting I always put a spare mask around my hand and that helps me remember to not knock or ring the doorbell
Side not. Never, ever accept Popeyes orders lol. They are the worst, if they're not out of items it takes 30+ minutes and that's once they even acknowledge you.
no challenges in my market (portland, or) recently. i'm a top dasher and do catering orders. my acceptance rate got very low so i decided to accept every order on christmas. mixed bag! 11 deliveries total in 7 hours. made $225 for the day. i hope everyone is safe and has a very happy new year. one thing, i waited one hour and ten minutes for a catering order. i have never been so frustrated! however, the customer was amazing! truly great! made total of $63 on that one crazy order. today snow is starting up. might be locked down for a couple days. hopefully not all week. good luck to everyone! btw, just did the math: my earnings rate was around $32 per hour.
I did a $75 challenge for 15 orders and I had 2 days to do it. I took every order and got an additional $5 per order. I thought I would be getting really low orders but I was surprised when I actually got some of the highest orders ever. It was so worth it. $200 bonus for 20 orders is an extra $10 per order!! That's awesome!!!
I don't fall for those gimmicks. They are trying to coerce drivers to take all deliveries but in the long run we will usually come up on the short end of the stick. Cherry pick because the driver has the most at stake in the gig food delivery business. DD gets their share, the customer gets their food, the restaurant gets their part but the driver has to bear the cost of delivery and the time lost in delivery. I Ubered tonight 12/17/21 and had to decline probably 10 orders and accepted only 5 before i quit. Low orders or really long ones that eat up gas and my time.
Their food sits there until someone accepts the order. It may eventually get stacked on a higher paying order as a double order. Or a "Top Dasher" will come along and do charity work.
It's definitely $200 on top of your delivery tips/base pay. A friend of mine convinced me to finally do it. I signed up this past Nov and researched everyday in my area to check how the market was. When Dec hit, I started seeing these $200 bonuses. Once the second bonus came around again, I jumped on it and started dashing. Once I completed the delivery requirement (one time was 20 and another was 15 deliveries), I got those $200 plus what ever I made in tips + base pay + peak pay.
Fun fact: I don’t know if it’s happened to you all but in my case the People who ask me for more stuff like check my order right bring me extra sauce could you please do this do that are the people who don’t even give no tip..!! Well it happens to me a lot…
I'm in Seattle and the one thing that really bothers me is so many of our restaurants lobbies are closed that we have to sit through drive-thrus, sucks up so much time we don't get these bonus or at least i haven't. What I would like is if they give you the distance from the store to the customer's house that's where they get you with the mileage
My friend uses a Prius with DD, works 7 or 8 hrs in two sessions, daily. He makes an easy 200. each day, 1,000. a wk. but he also gets tipped more average than I do, or did in 2020. Funny thing is, he is crazy about burning miles in his Prius vs. my cars running off 87 and 91 octane. He likes to run at 2. per mile, doesnt mind if his A/R is in the 40s. People are less gratuitous in 2021 but my stats are high as usual.
I was literally taking your advice that no tip no trip , I was shocked when I was watching you accepting orders have no tip, good luck Sara I really love watching your videos .
You could've done 2.5 trips in the length of the 10 mi trip. When you accept these unfair paying orders the more it tells DD that it's fine to send them. Exploitation
I got 3 deliveries $100 once with Uber and had several days to get it done. It was and easy 100 and I made $75 as the regular part so $175 for 4 hours that day. Haven't seen anything that good since.
hey robert, the 200 thing was not a challenge. it was actually kind of lame. my opinion anyway. the way they did it was, if you completed 20 in orders in a set amount of time, you were guaranteed a certain total earnings amount. in this case $200. in some markets, this might be good. where i'm at, not so good. i have not seen a doordash "challenge" in some months. anyway, happy new year!
Lol!! What I can't read Spanish!!?? 🤣😂😆😎😁!! It says: 1) Revise the receipt and make sure that they give you my complete order because their are always items missing. 2) Leave the order at the white door that goes by the patio by the Chrysler car. Do not knock on the main door of the house. Thank you. (This is what the note says. 😁😎)
Even when you Google it, the definition of "revisar" is revise, from Spanish to English. Not to mention I took spanish classes in school. Also I have been speaking spanish for decades, decades. I learned the proper spanish from two spanish teachers from Spain.
Many Dashers/Drivers do not get the bonuses. Many times it's just smoke to get the Dashers/Drivers to do whatever Doordash wants. Usually to make Dasher and Drivers do more orders or deliveries. So the gig companies make more money. Than they forget the drivers.
$200.00 for 20 orders is $10.00 an order. Not good. It's just to get Dashers/Drivers to make them money, not so much for the Dashers/Drivers. It's ok live and learn. Yes cherry pick. Make your money. Do not do the low base pay orders. 😉👍
20 trip for $200.... if you complete the 20 orders it will total $200 it's not like they will give you a extra $200 after which would total $400... they did that to me only made the money i did from the 20 order completed
Man so sorry, I missed that one time too. It was way less orders and money offered, then I was mad at myself. Feel better & we all learned a lesson. Thanks for keeping it real!
If you would have cherry picked you could have have made $200 in 6 hours. I don't do DD, but I am approved to run for them. I get those emails from them all the time on the weekends in the Chicagoland area.
Hey Lady , glad to see that the surgery didn't hold you down . I think I said that right ! Anyway I have a bad habit of taking every order simply because I truly don't like sitting and waiting , while I would sit and hope that my day wouldn't go to waste . I hope this finds you and y'all doing well and I will be looking to hearing from you , again , soon .
The only promo I ever got really was when I was first starting with Uber. They said if you complete 100 deliveries and like what happened to you was offered $1k pay out. And the catch was it’s the difference. So basically I got a $400 payout the one night because I surpassed the 100 delivery mark only made $600 they gave me the difference. Now I was part of a 4 week test/pilot program for DD that was something what you were thinking but I don’t want to go into more detail but let’s say you would A) want to pull your hair out with the requirements and you wouldn’t believe me how low the requirements were B) what the pay was you would be tripping over your own feet to a point. I’ll give you credit for trying. You didn’t pull a BS oh I’m doing this to become a top dasher and p away it so you can jump on when you could.
I'm just getting started with the food delivery thing...watched two of your vids so far...and I'm also in the Brandon area! Lol. Any other beginner tips would be greatly appreciated!
I had one of those thrown at me a few months ago, complete 60 deliveries for a guaranteed $260. That's not even a $4.50 average per delivery. No thanks! If drivers with a low acceptance rate are in a different algorithm and get sent lower paying offers, why are they still hiding tips? The explanation why tips were hidden was always the🦄 hunters. Now we know they would never be sent those offers anyway if that is true about being in another algorithm. More deception from Doordash. 👎
Dd was doing $10 for 10 deliveries 3 straight weeks in October from Thursday-Sunday I was stopping every day at exactly 10 deliveries and doing no other deliveries other than those and finished with about $450 each week.one of the weeks was $9 for 9 deliveries

The gps is crap period and the no tips should be ashamed of themselves
In a situation when you have the instructions in spanish, just use google translate and copy and paste. Zip zip so fast for you.
👍Hope this helps.
Thank you!
@@SaraElizabethYT You're welcome.
thats funny. i used to doordash for palm harbor and tampa florida until i moved

We had a challenge here locally and it was additional $, not guaranteed amount. same wording.
Google Translate is your friend. 👍
Real tree on the head rest lol subscribed off that alone
Nice 😉
Uber has gone down the toilet. No more quests anymore, at least not in my area of Bradenton/palmetto
I would have tripped out over the Spanish also
No Rob low ESPN port the Door!
It’s def an extra $200 i just did this exact one last weekend! I got my pay for all 20 deliveries plus an extra $200

Wow!
I take no orders that are less than $1.50 per mile. My acceptance rate is 24%. Orders keep coming in until I like the one I want
Feel better 🤗
Doordash be pulling that shady shit all the time
You still make great vids 🙂🙂
That doesn’t make sense I’m in Tampa and I didn’t get that, that’s BS
This is the first one I got in 2 years and it's still a jip! I was so upset!
