Not sure if you know this but the front of the zaku skirt can actually pull down allowing the waist to rotate 360 ( only zaku II has this feature ) . I was so happy that my zaku doesn’t look “stiff” on the display shelf after messing with the front skirt
With the release of this pretty damn obscure design and photonovel designs, we get more obscure spinoff lines like this. What comes to my mind is stuff like missing link, lost war chronicals, pale rider, even code fairy. And since we are moving into zeta era ver anime kits hopefully Advance of Zeta: The Traitor to Destiny designs would be amazing to see also like the Gm type C wagtail and the Gm cannon ii Lucien Bendt use
Despite the suit lack other weapons ,i still think the uniqueness of the suit appearance and equipment do outweight a lack of the copy and paste amount of zaku machine gun or zaku bazooka we have, but do wish we got some effects tho.
Gorgeous figure. Definitely next on my list after the Gouf real type. Just a shame that it didnt come with the Xamel firing effect, it looks marvelous and getting that piece is gonna require me to fork over 300 dollars
I hope at some point Robot Damashii starts making figures from Gundam Thunderbolt because I would love to have a psycho zaku as a figure instead of a model kit
I can't imagine it was very effective to make an F type Zaku 2 fire the 680mm when you could do like the Rick Doms did and swap some parts to make a low gravity use space compatible Xamel. Conceptually, I am confused.
@@UCRDReviews Yeah, figures. I'm always surprised they even had enough junk lying around to maintain any Zeon remnants with their many suits. I woulda figured they'd have run out after getting shot at during their 3rd or 4th fight.
Hi UC-RD! Longtime lurker. I'm considering buying my first Robot spirits ver anime figure (the standard GM), and I was curious: is it safe to panel line robot spirits kits in a similar way to Gunpla? I noticed a lot of these figures have really nice details etched into them, and was wondering what they would look like if some of those recesses were filled in with a panel liner, like the basic gundam markers. Great review, and I hope you're doing well!
Finally got this along with the Rangefinder Type. Really neat duo once you get the cannon on the bipod.
Gorgeous
Isn’t it tho?

That’s nice to know!

Yes the sky’s the limit now!

Yeah we always get cheated out of effects with stuff like this. Reissuing the Xamel effects would have been amazing

Yeah the firing effects would have been nice

I’m sure they’ll jump on that one day. Origin too

It was probably a quick piece-together with what they had

Yes, they have the feel of a model kit so I would say panel-lining should be totally fine. I’ve never done it myself however
I like this Zaku. It’s with in my borders of 0083 to 0079. So I like it. But I do not like Zaku 3s. Just so you understand
Zaku IIIs? From ZZ Gundam?
