    Hlaudi didn't even have a matric, but he was such a strategist at executive level... He took SABC from R4bil to a Gigantic R8 billion, if that's not progressive and decisive leadership skills, then I don't know what is!

      Journalists are paid to carry an agenda whenever they get to inter people. None of their questions are authentic and based on thorough research - it's mostly a complete ambush, a witch hunt of some sort with an attempt to destroy an image as they did to Ntate Hlaudi.

    I am hoping that this episode is going to prove beyond reasonable doubt Sol's statement that "nobody can/does this interviewing thing like Mac" and the sooner we as chillers appreciate the genius that Macg is the better. The fact that the guy doesn't have filter regardless of the guest is what makes him stand gead and shoulders above everyone else and his consistency is too remarkable to ignore. One thing Ntate Hlaudi that actually touched me, it’s the fact that we don’t realize how that law of playing 90% of local content have helped us as a country. Look at how many artists have actually benefited from that. Amapiano is recognised world wide and hip-hop is a thing of the past in SA and other African countries. Change is really needed in SA and the only way to change is not through the ANC but individual leaders who are in power. Thank you MacG and Sol for getting us as chillers such an inspirational Leader🙏🙏

    • @brett6376
      @brett6376 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      True that. The interviewer were actually correct, Hlaudi did the 90% thing to early. He was a bit ahead of the time. But if he had to do it now, then it could have and would have worked. Perhaps Hlaudi is the reason why the 90% rule can be implemented at this moment, he fast track us to this point where it is possible.

    I'm actually disappointed that my neighbours(SA) dragged this man for the 90% rule😭😭 It's a sign of mental slavery if you think of it. I mean imagine a time like now where amapiano is popping and advertisers choose to pay for international content instead🤷 This man actually paved the way for black excellence 👏👏If I were from SA I'd vote for him💯

    Yhoo guys, I'm speechless and teary-eyed. Mac G keeps blowing up my mind, his versatility is out of this world, I only realized at the end of the interview that he didn't swear even once, didn't think that was possible, but it's everything about reading the room. Teary eyed because of Hlaudi 's humane nature, that drives everything that he does. He is ubuntu personified. I am touched by how he is so much connected to his profession and how he is able to intertwine it into all areas of life in a way that is sensible. If you were to listen to him speaking about politics and making reference to content without having listened to the entire interview you would be baffled, but in context it made so much sense. His courage and confidence are out of this world, OMG! I hope the tips that he will give MacG will propel MacG to higher heights. Not MacG at the end not resisting being himself on the issue of how they got to speak about his children, instead of asking the question again or clarifying the question. I still want to know how Hlaudi r
    got to be a chiller, but MacG didn't follow through because, oh well, he is MacG, he won't miss an opportunity to laugh when it presents itself. An excellent interview!

    Shame on South African media and politicians for trying to rob us of such a brilliant man, this guy is is smart and well educated. "Well educated" to me means being able to analyse the problem and put your theories into practise in attempt to solve the problem. I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that this man of Hlaudi would make a great president. BTW those who owe him for his IP must do the right thing and compensate the man. Great interview...I love the part when he spoke about english, if you want radical transformation or change rather you need someone who does not speak too much of it. Otherwise we will get bored with long poetic statement, like my homeboy did during his term Zizi aka Mbeki and this one that we have now smh.

Many of us had a negative perception of Hlaudi but after this interview I have gained so much respect for him. in this interview he has shared practical policies that can transform this country. Black man you are on your own. The attacks on this podcast come from the same agenda to silence anyone who wants to give ordinary South Africans their voice and power back. This here is a start of a new breed of South Africans who will not conform but rather start building their own economy. Well done MacG and the crew, you are changing the game and they are shaking.
