For those who don't know what is on the bottom right at 0:24 it's called "Specialist Streak" from Modern Warfare 2019. The first one is High Alert (the activated one) that alert you when an enemy is aiming at you. The second one is Double Time that increase your running speed. The third one is Amped Up which increase your weapon swapping speed. (I don't know why Mario uses it since he has no weapon.)

I respect the fact that unlike many other fellow sprite animatators that make similar vids you're one of the few that stay true to the game's physics, makes your stuff much more enjoyable and satisfying to watch
Nelson Reyes-Alvarez, you are correct when it comes to the sounds that mario made while jumping (coming from the 64 version), but the style of dive is different. In 64, mario is diving from the moment he leaves the ground, but in odyssey (and here), he chose to dive near the peak height of his jump, not the ground.
