I asked around not one person or other couple knew...... The doors & their minds were blown open! Before breakin' into "Tell It To Me" Billy ask these low-pulse, rich AF, old geezers '"Anybody do Cocaine? I was dyin'😁' trippin'😎 holding back, also not laughing, but dying 2😂 All of these Wallstreet types were so uptight, too 'tightened' to even snicker . . . not a clap! . . . When, in fact, I'd bet that every one of us in that 420 seat theater had used The snow was thick . . . Outside, in the parking lot that night. A`GoNow GnoMe
Jerry would be proud!!! Big shout out to Billy Strings - his playing inspired me to pick up the guitar about ten years ago after I saw an old video of a then unknown Billy Strings playing "Dust in a Baggie".. .....thanks to his inspiration, after close to thirty years of simply noodling around, I have come to really improve my flat picking skills and gained a greater appreciation for Bluegrass music in general - an incredible talent to be sure!!!! You, Guy King, Ana Popovic, Bonamassa... probably me also soon... + several more are actually the ones who will be rewarded for saving REAL music, and real original real-deal old school roots. B.Grass and Blues must be saved! And it is going good! Im glad about that a lot. Hope i will play some Blues and picking one day with you man.. On stage and personal.
Until then, Good Luck man, you are very good! The better You get, harder You work! Cheers from Croatia Adriatic Sea 🍻🍻🦾👌👍

Thanx B! for everything. This one, Yours Here, our Last Live Show.
Caught the heat-stroke At the "Hot Fox" 2
It all seems a long long way from a cold night; way below zero the night before Valentines, Solo, & with "I'm With Her" in front of a geriatric crowd of only 400, in Ridgefield, sponsored by 2-Roads Brewing with free beer tasting,(complete with red Solo cups) Everyone else was there for the Fem-fantastic harmonies of song-birds; "I'm With Her"(¬ the great 'fresh-for-the-event' Craft-Brew) No one had heard of ''The Opening Act" Billy Strings.
I asked around not one person or other couple knew......
The doors & their minds were blown open!
Before breakin' into "Tell It To Me" Billy ask these low-pulse, rich AF, old geezers
'"Anybody do Cocaine? I was dyin'😁' trippin'😎 holding back, also not laughing, but dying 2😂
All of these Wallstreet types were so uptight, too 'tightened' to even snicker . . . not a clap! . . .
When, in fact, I'd bet that every one of us in that 420 seat theater had used
The snow was thick . . . Outside, in the parking lot that night.
A`GoNow GnoMe
Same stage the dead debuted this song on in 71
How does this video not have a billion views? I think I've watched it at least that many times.
It has been a lot of fun to watch is meteoric rise over the last decade or so!!!
SOOOO.. WELL DONE BILLY.. INCREDIBLE.. You "re-classified" a classic.
One of the best Dead songs ever!!! Just awesome
Sweet faithful cover, tasteful banjo playing
Hunter can never be touched. Rip 😢
Good shit billy
I am really impressed. Makes it his own but stays true to original to some extent.
in general, I watch a few minutes of folks covering Dead tunes, then I turn it off. I actually watched all of this and loved it. Love that Terrapin Station one too where several bands cover it.
Makes sense since this is the best act to come along since the end of The Dead...........
Soooo sick
Damn fine job, buddy! A fantastic rendition of one of those fantastic old songs of my youth!
What a gorgeous cover of a beautiful song.
Wonderful!
Well done...
Makes me smile
I'm now a fan qny man that appreciates the grateful dead and Jerry this much is a friend of mine!
Great song! Love the band and your vocal is amazing!
I've heard Billy many times before. This time as I'm listening it hit me that when Billy's singing this, he's reminding me of Steve Winwood in his early Traffic days.
Anyone else getting that vibe, or is it just me? 🤣
His voice and delivery keep getting better (my opinion) as he moves further into various styles and out of his hard country twang.
What a fantastic version of this song!
Best version I've ever heard
That was awesome! Thank you! I’d love to hear them do Cumberland Blues.
This simply just too nice 👌🏽👌🏽💯💯
Beautiful! Thank you! 💗
More than my wine, more than my maker. Though, he’s no friend of mine.
Best day of my life
