Hi Abarar, the fee for the first year of teaching is £13,500 if you start in September 2020. Then during the placement year there is a £1,800 administration fee. So in total that would be £15,300 for the two year programme. I hope that helps!

Hi Elizabeth, companies do sponsor students who require a Tier 2 visa, if it is the right applicant for them. Whilst there are costs, the costs are not high compared to hiring the right person for the job.

Unfortunately I can't tell you about the University of Guleph, however you'd be able to apply to study at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK to study MSc Food Science and Technology. You can either study it for one year, or select the two year option with a one year work placement. The tuition cost starting in September 2020 would be £13,500. There is a one year placement included as part of the course, and the course team assists students with finding a placement, making an application, and the interview process. Hi Abarar, the fee for the first year of teaching is £13,500 if you start in September 2020. Then during the placement year there is a £1,800 administration fee. So in total that would be £15,300 for the two year programme. I hope that helps!

It's a taught course, however there is the option for some research. But mostly a taught course.

Hi Shubham, you would need to have a Bachelors Degree in either a subject related to Food Sciences, or a subject linked to the area, such as Bio Tech, or related subjects. You would need to have a good score of around 60% plus, as well as meeting requirements such as English Language.

Hi Elizabeth, companies do sponsor students who require a Tier 2 visa, if it is the right applicant for them. Whilst there are costs, the costs are not high compared to hiring the right person for the job.

The placement system is a little different in the UK. The university will assist students with graduate opportunities, but there isn't necessarily direct placements from the same companies each year.
