  • Paperboard is the material used to make folded cartons, liquid packaging and other products, paper cups and plates and printing paper. It needs to be strong, uniform and clean and that's exactly how Clearwater Paper makes paperboard at their mill in Lewiston, Idaho. This video shows the process of turning pulp into products we use every day. Learn more about all the good things that come from Idaho's forests at www.idahoforest....

These days, converters are busy in making Aseptic Liquid Packaging. Card Board + PE Coat + Alu Foil + PE to form Aseptic Packaging.
I want to know what type of Card Board do they use as Base Board ? Is it like Folding Box Board ? Some call it GC 4 grade and I have no clue what this GC 4 stands for ?
Will some one explain it to me ? Thanks

If you want to work here think twice before you go to the paperboard side the employees are ruthless and treat you like dog shit until you can prove yourself to them which takes months of effort and even then….. it’s hard to even recommend the jobs over there. Extremely physical job that can fuck you up or kill you I had a couple close calls with rolls.

"White is the symbol of cleanliness, White is the symbol of purity" -- What was that, a dog whistle?
If that is true, what do black, brown, and yellow symbolize, can the learned man please tell me?
