Hey jermaine you remember going and helping out the travel ball team in Priniville Oregon well I was on that team and thanks for everything your an inspiration too us all
Tell Richie I said hello...and reach out anytime. I would say to stay back there are a million things you can do. Get ate like a birfday cake? WWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA? So enjoy your vids. By the way, this popped up on my TH-cam home screen. The YT algo is giving you some love!
Hahahhaaha thanks so much for watching. I'm pumped the YT algo is showing a little love. It's super niche but I guess the content was good. I have a question for you; I am wanting to target a bigger audience. The swing breakdown niche is so tiny. I'm really surprised the YT Algo recommended my video to you. Anyways, How would you go about targeting a wider audience?
@@JermaineCurtis55 it's simple… Make more videos that are relevant to a broader audience. Consider this swing breakdown as a "show" on your "network"... Just like how ESPN has SportsCenter, they have their reality shows like dream job, pardon the interruption... They have variety in their lineup of shows from their network. You can build out this same type of variety in this same principle of running a "network" from your TH-cam channel... Group everything together in playlists and TH-cam will see the relevance over time as you continue to build out more of these shows
That makes sense. Thank you! I had watched a video where Graham Stephan was talking about the YT Algorithm... Basically, it was about niching down on content so the algorithm promotes you and your followers actually watch the content you put out. So I was struggling with it...because I didn't want my channel to be only about swing breakdowns. Love your videos! What do you make of Tatis' PED suspension? Do you think PEDs have played into his success to this point? Or do you think that was a slipup from a kid under immense pressure(Or actually ringworm, which I don't think anyone believes?")
You can use a partner to do front toss, side toss, or batting practice. BUT, if you are alone, you can just toss it up to yourself and hit it. I used to do this and it helped me a lot.
Hey thanks so much for making this video it was extremely helpful. Is there any way I could send you some of my swings and you could help me work on them thanks 🙏🏿
Hey! I got a question for you, do you think fernando’s load is good because his hands kind of almost drop. For Mike trout his load is where his load is like tatis jr but his hands are sorta higher so he come down to the ball
Yeah, its not a problem with his hands because he gets them back up to where it needs to be. I did the same thing when I played - my hands woukd drop but they would get back up. This was more of a timing technique for me.
I think swing instructors should come together and choose the player with the best mechanics of all time and then just teach those mechanics. I nominate Ken Griffey Jr. That way, in the future, when you do a swing analysis of player X you simple highlight the weaknesses in the swing or, if player X has ideal mechanics you say that.
Yes. You know how you said Tatis has distance from the plate. His coach usually tells him to get closer to the plate. Usually because ump calls outside a couple inches. Where are you located?
@@repone817 what the coach is saying makes sense. Especially, at that level. At the big leagues the strike zone is small. So I would agree with your coach to have your son get closer to the plate. Baseball and life are the same. Gotta make adjustments in between the lines.
