Whenever you have a problem employee it’s like a cancer for your business. For your business to survive you need to cut out the cancer. Bosses need to be Bosses like Parents need to be Parents. You did the right thing. Sleep well. 👍❤️

You did the right thing not the wrong thing . Go home and have a pleasant evening. I was a day care owner and had to fire a friend of over 40 yrs. But she stole over $1200 and blamed it on her husband when he told me she gave the money to her daughter for gambling in Mesquite and then lie to me so I asked the court to get her to pay for it.It cost me a girlfriend but she thought that she was going to get away.with it and she didn't. She had to pay me more it was her own fault

Don't feel bad about what went down with a former employee, as you said he was given multiple chances. If he crossed the line he needs to go, you need to have a good working environment for the rest of your employees or you will have serious problems.
I watched the entire vlog and I was wondering if you have ever installed a dual front and rear dash cam?
I want to buy one but not sure which brand to get, plus one that is pretty easy to install.
      Any suggestions would be great.

As a business owner, it's difficult to have to fire people. I never take it lightly because it does have an affect on their spouse and children. However, I also keep in mind that each person has to take responsibility for their actions. I have no tolerance for disrespect and that will get an employee fired faster than anything else up to and including a person's attendance.

CJ, I wish all employers were like you. It is always good to know how people feel about how businesses is run, company rules, communication, etc...
The person chose to be fired. Straight up!!! If they had multiple warnings & still chose to make a wrong choice then the writing is on the wall. I am sorry that happened to you. Good employer's are just as hard to find as good employees. To work as a unit all need to communicate, listen, & work together with dignity and respect.
Your Dad would be and I know is proud of you.
    Blessings,
    🍃🌼🍃

want only the best for you and who will make you smile and laugh and lift your spirit. Who will celebrate the good times with you but also are by your side in the bad too.
I look forward to any videos you make,I think they are fun and are too funny many times and also inspirational and motivating 😊
Thank you for sharing your life with us and for being a good hearted and down to earth guy.

You've earned everything you have with aspirations goals and hard work and great work ethics. I enjoy seeing all your "marvelous toys" and I celebrate your success rather then making something negative out of it.

To have a GOOD COMPANY ...u need good QUALITY PEOPLE in MANAGEMENT . Also the TOP BOSS to be involved with company and BE AWARE . Any form of BULLYING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ‼️‼️‼️. Thank you for sharing CJ. I've had personal fights to stand up for rights... It's not easy when in Australia it's the perpetrators that are protected. 😡😡😡😡. But glad to say... My voice was heard & at the end of the day the people involved were caught. 1. Made changes in situations that would stop bulling towards children.
2.Helping make changes that people working in certain areas have proper training. And bringing to light Bullying & what can happen when certain non for profits don't have high standards & don't care about clients - their needs & even general basic care.
It's WONDERFUL to see that your company has QUALITY MANAGEMENT from the TOP ... Which means QUALITY staff(some glitches) which means QUALITY PRODUCTS 💚👍👍🇦🇺😁

I was a manager at a restaurant and had to politely and firmly ask employees to leave a couple of times and even customers when it was necessary. I suffer from a anxiety that is triggered by confrontations, but I have learned that when confrontations can not be avoided to stand my ground and not let that person know that I'm completely freaking out inside. You did the right thing, I know in that after things calmed down it might not feel that way but someone that is willing to be unnecessarily disrespectful should not be in any business where they are around customers. Love seeing everyday life videos more then the other because it makes you seem more human, lol!

Sometimes it is just time for a change in life. Having to fire someone is never fun but on the flip side of it. The opportunity for that person to make a change in their life and become a better person for it in the end is up to them. There are some very inappropiate things to do/say at your job and being a bully (for lack of a better word) is not okay period. You handled it just fine. Changes in the content sound great!!! I don't want to see you hurt I don't like to see anyone hurt. The sound that Can AM makes for you is the sound my 76' Sportster made for me. The freedom of the road is a wonderful feeling. Sturgis and bike week are a time of meeting old and new friends for life.

making an honest mistake happens sometimes, but honestly sounds like the guy intentionally did some things and he crossed the lines. Believe me, i've made mistakes in my life but i've taken that and learned from it and that's all we can do.

Ugh. The worst was firing a really good friend. As his supervisor, I'd let his occasional tardiness or longer "smoke breaks" slide but when I caught him stealing, I had no choice but to let him go. I was so hurt, I cried during the whole thing. I had my store manager sit in on our meeting to make sure I did and said all I was supposed to.

I used to be a senior supervisor of 25 - 30 people. If someone wasn't doing something right I had them get retrained and if that didn't work they was fired. Heck I even fired my boyfriend's mom. Everyone thought I would play favoritism with her....pfft she got fired just like anyone else who messed up. I'm proud of you CJ that you stand up for what is right! Many blessings to you!!

It’s hard being the one at the top. I’ve been there, had to let people go because they weren’t good for the company and I agree, it does bring you down and no matter how you handle it, you do feel awkward for a while but you always know that no matter what the situation is, you still have to go on for your loyal employees so you make your best effort to keep going no matter what and shake it off. Some people in this world think being at the top is easy but they are wrong. The higher up you are, the more responsible you are and the more you have to make absolutely sure that you do the right thing for your employees, your company and yourself in that order. You did the right thing and you handled the situation exactly as I would have.

You handled it correctly with your employee. I was in the restaurant business for 19 yrs. Ive had to fire people, have heard all different stories. Some stayed friends with. some not,
Thats what it is business. If there not willing to work by your standards and help your company and show respect. then there's people out there that will. Keep up the great work love the bikes and ATVs and racing, I'm a gear head. Much love from indiana! ❤

Cj, I must say you did the right thing. As a manager myself I know where you are coming from and I have dealt with employees like that before. It's a very hard decision to make but at the same time, you still have to do what is best for the rest of your employees. Verbal warnings and written warnings only work for a short time. If that person doesn't value their job and the people they work with then they don't belong to have that opportunity,. Also on that note, I truly love your videos sharing your life with us. Seeing your hard work and dedication towards success is true happiness.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom on a situation like that, I studied HR Management as part of my uni degree but never got to use it until I got my new job and the owner is turning to me for advice, etc. I would always handle a situation similar to how you did because it’s the best way to do it.
A couple weeks ago I had an issue with employee and I just kept calm, etc then once the owner came back into the office I explained the situation and she made a phone call to someone else who was there when it happened and then contacted said employee. Which was honestly the best way to handle that particular situation

CJ, I think you handled that situation really well. Its not easy running a business. I once found an employee sleeping under a truck instead of doing some repairs. I just told him sleeping was something he needed to do on his own time, and it better not happen again. He never did it again.😁
