I didn't choose these examples. These photos are just point and shoot. I am a type of person that like to point and shoot. These photos are fully in auto mode, same conditions, same place, same time. Take two phones point and shoot. I didn't choose which photo should I use in this video. Some of these photos were taken when I was on holidays last week and some were taken yeasterday but everything was fair and square. As you can see theres almost no difference in details between these photos in 10x zoom. There are even cropped version of these photos. I would even say that its almost a draw with some exceptions where S24U has slight edge. Very minor but indeed visible especially on that wood at the sea and on human face. However color represantation is indeed better on S24U. Sky is better on S24, that white doll also looks better and more realistic on S24U. Water drops, grass, flowers... everything looks better on photos taken with S24U. So saying that S24U takes worse 10x zoom then S23U is not true. It's not. Maybe in some scenarios, but it's maybe. I have both phones all the time and can't agree with you that S23U is a better camera phone. It isn't. There are still some problems with this camera but I think this big update that will soon be available should solve some of them. Last year the same problems we had with S23U camera and Samsung also solved them in update that was released in June or July. Don't remember exactly but it was a big update. It looks like this year we also will have almost identical situation but even for now S24U has a better overhaul camera in comparison to S23U. I'm not a fan boy that tries to justify something. I'm a user that bought both phones with own money. If S23U was a better camera phone why would I keep S24U? I would sell it or send it back to Samsung if it was true and get my money back. But no. I use it as my primary phone. My wife is using S23U as her phone now and everything when she needs to take a picture of something she chooses to use my phone, S24U. Not her S23U so I just completely don't understand all these staments that "S23U is a better phone camera". No, it isn't.
Glad that you are happy now 🤣 I think you will be even happier on June or July when Samsung is going to release update addressed specifically to camera issues on Galaxy S24 Ultra and battery life 😉 this should makes you even happier. For now in my opinion 10x photos and videos are better on S24 Ultra. If not better they are comparable to last year model. However from 5x to 10x it destroyes Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra because 5x lens is much better than 5x crop on S23 Ultra.

Videos on 23 ultra are clearly better, altho u can't see it on small screen
Video from S23 Ultra better? No way. Videos recorded with S24 Ultra are better for sure.
