Brings back memories of racing my ERS in flat track and TT in the mid 70's. I didn't road race until 1997 when got a TL1000S and then in 1998 won the Heavyweight Twins Novice in CMRA. I loved my ERS. It had a .040 over BSA 650 piston in it and Tom Sifton did the top end. Lightweight pushrods made by Tom. I got rid of it when I was at the San Jose 1/2 mile and in practice a Yamaha 125 passed me going down the back straight in practice. The next year I was on a Kawasaki 350 with a Champion frame, F81M transmission and a 38mm Mikuni tuned by Jeff Bratton.
I had a 250 in 1961 and really liked it; like they say I wish I had kept it. Those Aermacchis were fast and sounded a hell of a lot better than the ring a dings
Love this video! Nice telemetry! So what AHRMA category are you running in this race? They let you race in the CB160 exhibition group with a 250 Aermacchi? Just curious.

Yep, if you run 200gp they let you run cb160 at a reduced price.
Sick!!!! Did you end up finishing in 2nd place?
Ended up with third but we had the pace to win it if the little bike had started right off the bat.
@@42Hollingsworth yeah! You were hauling ass. That was some exciting footage.
