Terraria weapons would be cool, I know youre also a big fan of the game, they wouldnt have to be huge but I always liked the sickles or the mythril sword :)

As a (sometimes) sculptor, I often wondered in other videos why you didn't jump into the sculptural aspects (carving, etc) sooner. I get that you are a wood-turner first. But sometimes the hacking and sawing and other kinds of subtraction can work for you too. As it did in this case. I agree with you, the texture and angular qualities of both the wood and resin work well together. Great job.

I gave a like for persistence, oh and also i think this came out better as an angular piece than a round turned piece. Kudos to you for sticking with it. That thing would've been in 3 pieces in my garbage can. Important lessons were taught today by Mr. Brown.

This wand reminds me of ALOT of harry potter wands, only a handful of wands in the potter verse is perfectly rounded, this looks simply amazing and have to admit if i seen one like this in any of the beast movies id love it

Have you tried plasticine for sealing the molds? With the right kind its really easy to smear it in the corners, it makes it leak-proof and you can reuse 95 percent after demolding. Haven't tried it with resin, so i dont know if theres a reaction between the two, but it might be worth giving it a shot

after glueing the mold u can poor some water to see if it leaks or where it leaks and then fix it but i bet u have to make sure it's dry before pouring the resin in
You should really consider testing resin molds with water and maybe a couple drops of food coloring dye in order to check for leaks. You could save a lot of resin.
It would be cool to see a wand that had more of small shattered pieced throughout, so it looked more like a broken wand and not a handle with a green wand :) Not that it doesn't look cool :)
Just noticed you kind of look like hagrid and you act like him too that is just so awesome only thing you need is a beard and mustache and you are ready to give kids have pig tails with an umbrella.
What if, for your next project, you remake the axe in the background but have the blade made of resin while the handle is wooden so its like a glass axe?

I know this was a frustrating build, but I really like the result. It has a crystalline feel to it.

There's space in there for a little LED and battery. Hide it all in the base. The resin will channel the light down the shaft.

I think sanding it with facets as opposed to turning makes it look better. More magical and wizardry.

You should definitely make a glass dagger. Glass weapons are the prettiest in Skyrim.

Hey peter why dont you buy or make a vacuum pump? in that way you can get way more bubbles out of your smaller projects.

Sometimes I come out of a project thinking, "Now how do I do that on purpose?" for weeks. This would probably do that to me.

do you test the seal on your mold with water before you pour precious resin in it?
I made something like that in 8th grade for a costume. No resin or anything. Just a stick with a wood burned design on it. I was so proud of myself 🙄😂
Next resin wand you make (lol next one xD) Put an RFID tag in the tip, so you can use it to, for example, lock and unlock your cellphone :D
