Slightly odd choice of hardware to feature on an aviation channel. Emergency locator transmitters (ELTs) are designed for aircraft but were not mentioned. EPIRBs were mentioned, but they're for boats. PLBs are designed for personal use. They could be used with aircraft, but aren't designed to be.

2:23 This isn't very specific. ACR says that you can do the basic test 60 times over 5 years...once per month...without compromising the battery. The GPS test you can do 20 times, then the unit disables that test.
