If you like the dialogue of the pilot and titan you should check out Gargantia. Titanfall 2's pilot and titan dynamic was taken from that. BT is pretty much Chamber. The writer of Titanfall 2 got his team to watch it, lol.

It does have some, but it's a lot more pilot and robot learning about their new surroundings and adapting to it and the people they meet. I hesitate to say "slice of life", but it does have that feeling sometimes.

I can’t speak for its multiplayer at this point, but the campaign mode for Titanfall 2 is a hoot, give it a try sometime, you don’t even have to be super skilled at the game to pull off some bonkers shit.
The MP is amazing (not when it is getting ddos-ed lol) but it is by far the best Mp experience I have had since BF3 and halo reach. The story is the best modern fps campaign I can recall. The multiplayer just had cosmetic dlc, no loot boxes or anything. It is what I’d consider to be the pinnacle of movement shooters. It has tech for days too (look up hidden titan fall 2 tech , or something similar, because they were geniuses)

1:17 I play TF2 on PS4 and went for the Platinum trophy. Beating Lastimosa's time at the Gauntlet as my first trophy is hell. But it made me appreciate the movement in the game. It made learn how to be quick and daring in aiming with a controller.
I don't play a lot of shooters but this actually looks really cool to be honest. And the game just so happens to be on sale for 6 bucks on PS4 right now :D
