    To make it look more minecrafty u can also use MCprep to prep the materias...it also comes with a lot more features including mc skies and clouds with the ability to change the time of day

    • @BadNormals

      I'll keep that in mind

      normally, mcprep looks wayyyyyy far from Minecraft. Instead use the jmc2obj clouds and mineways just uses a sun anyways with a custom sky shader soo eh. Looks too plain honestly

    It would be pretty neat if somebody made a minecraft mod that sets up a blender scene of your surroundings, no work required.

    • @justizirtum
      @justizirtum 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The problem is that minecraft is written in java and blender in c or c++ / c#, so you had to rewrite blender or m8necraft i think and transfer to another language. This is why we use mineway to convert the world i think.

    Nice tutorial dude. Btw you shouldn't decrease light bounces amount, it make image only worse and not really faster (ok faster but it doesn't cost it at all), but decreasing AO amount (in simplify tab) to 2 will reduce render time. Also it'll be nice to use e-cycles renderer, it's 2 times faster.

    • @BadNormals
      @BadNormals  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I forgot the simplify feature, this would have made it faster for sure. The e-cycles renderer would be wonderful, but since I don't have a Nvidia card, it's supposedly only 10-20% faster with AMD GPUs and with CPUs in general.

      The water didn't work when I converted it to a Mesh it goes back to a flat state and doesn't keep the ripples.

    How do you select each block separately? I'm using the exact same Mineways settings but it still exports the world as a single object

    How did you import the scene with with separate blocks? I tried it like in your video and I have all the blocks in the same model

    • @BadNormals

      They might have changed how mineways works. I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you. Make sure the settings are all the same for one last time.
