@jaredmeredith6637 I think that's the reasoning: everyone has a forge; not everyone makes a fireplace. But I agree, it would make much more sense if you didn't have an actual fireplace you can make.
All the stats on the dyno are in one stat. So if you level up high enough you get an OP breeder. The rest are all zeroed out. Tested this with the Binoculars. Plus they're always event colored.
Probably the best thing you can get from the event, especially on the island with fewer max level tames. Breeding in a 50+ point stat with any dino line can be huge and not seeing much talk about it? A 50 health rex line is great for boss fights.
I like that they've mostly reworked the event to keep it new and fresh from ASE and the new stuff looks great. But I miss the gacha claus, those big buggers were fun to have around and really made it feel like a Christmas event. Cheers for doing the testing and figuring it all out for us 🍻

So, fyi for anyone who has any of the skins and their tribe mate doesn’t…if you have the helio shark mod on? And you’ve levelled it to make sure you will get a blue print anytime? Just stick the Krampjs skin on any top the helio will blueprint and bada bing Bada boom you’ve an infinite krampjs skin bp. Doesn’t matter what too you use as once crafted you can remove said skin from the top. Works with all skins & also if you paint it the bp will be painted, same with any Armor too. Enjoy!
So where do us Unofficial players put the modID code? Into the GameUserSettings or into the Game.ini file? I don't get when they say "in the launch parameters"
just search for the mod from the main menu - mod list - type winter :) - if you are running your own dedicated you need - ActiveMods=927090 under [ServerSettings] within the GUS.ini. If you are hosting i.e Nitrado or from another PC within the launch parameters it will be - mod=927090 Good Luck

So for example on official, we got a level 61 arthropleura with 60 points in melee, and a mosa with 57 weight. One of our friends got a unicorn with 50 oxygen. Great for breeding lines.

For some reason, Anglerfish gave me more than most. Avoid the normal fish and you'll be fine. It takes a few minutes. If you don't have underwater tames, go chomping on something big, somewhere where there's lots of aggressive dinos. You want to get 'super nice' if you want the best loot. I get dinos at level 47 with all points in one stat and zero points for others. Which are great for breeding.
@@Adriibiza Fastest way is to go into a cave, as everything in a cave will give you good points. Bring a frog to the swamp cave, every meganeura there gives you a good point, pretty sure I've filled my bar on the first 2 rooms.
Devs said the code for the event stuff goes in permanently in January patch so it'll disappear if you remove the event mod before then. After patch it's forever.
have you had any issues actually getting the presents from the letter?? I now have not received anything (dino letter and being super naughty for the krampus) 3 times in a row and idk if it is a bug or if im doing something wrong... - I craft the letter (dino letter) and kill a bunch of dinos until im super naughty and then im just waiting - I then lay down on my bed at +- 22:00 and wait until 00:05 - its 00:05 but nothing happens - symbol stays until +- 6:00 and then dissapears and now i can start over... I did crash 1 time each try maybe that got something to do with it? symbol was still there after rejoining so i just thought it wouldnt matter
I've not had any issues at all, but by the sounds of it, it is likely to be the crashes you have had that cancel it, and the icon remaining ends up just being visual.
Turns out i had to have a roof above me. I was doing it in open air like you and it didn't work then i made a proper building to get the little house icon in the bottom right corner and now it works fine every time. Did 13 tries of super naughty and finally got the krampus :) now fully focussing on the dinos
It's different from normal skins. Have the skin in your inventory, then press E or whatever your Use button is and then you can place it on the smithy/forge etc. Note that when you do this you still have the skin in your cosmetics tab to reuse if you have more than one structure.
Question! How does your character in the video shows that you have a helmet armor equipped but then your whole face is showing without the helmet? Please help.
If I had to guess; Stop the Steal spawns new versions of the dinos without their ability to target players while removing the normal ones ability to spawn. Winter Wonderland also spawns a new version that doesn't affect or get affect by the normal version. So, it shouldn't stop the christmas one from stealing. But thats just my guess based off what I know of how the mods work.
You use the mistletoe and coal to craft the notes and get the stat-boosted dinos in the pods! Easier than chasing down raptor claws gifts for them, especially if you're on a ptera and can't carry much each night.

Frankly, i find it insulting the devs spent any time on an event when that effort could have gone into fixing the misleadingly atrocious state of the base game.

Fix structure limit or give us large ceilings. And fix oviraptors. Everyone.. start breeding oviraptors and give them high melee then you can fly around with argy carrying an oviraptor in pve and very easily steal incubating eggs from far distances. Let's go.. make it toxic so they have to fix oviraptors. And yes there's a toxic player on our official server flying around stealing eggs. We lost 3 carchar eggs and 3 giga eggs this morning. We'd build a second floor to block it but this disgusting structure limit has blocked us from building a second floor putting most oviraptors out of range. We're behemoth size as it is.

I found that an easy way to get to super naughty is by killing fish, and to get super nice, clearing a cave can do the trick.

Yes you can craft all that stuff in the smithy.

You can't tame it, you just get mistletoe and coal from it.

It's a mod, if you are playing singleplayer you have to add it yourself. Once the mod is removed you should be able to keep everything
