Have watched nearly every restoration video on youtube - and yours are by far the best!! Your attention to detail is wonderful. The cleanliness is far better than anyone else's and you replace bearings!! There are some on here that just stick the old ones back in. And, you polish the aluminum!! New inside and out. Great job!!
You all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Leon Taylor I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Só tenho um observação a fazer não se deve colocar cola nas juntas ou coloca a juntas ou a cola,a cola acaba dilatando as juntas e provocando vasamento no futuro quando estiver usando
I don't know why gasket maker and a gasket is being used together. It makes sense to use some to hold a gasket in place, but to use both makes no sense. Don't forget, what seeps on the outside, seeps on the inside. In future, this could cause a problem. In the beginning, all is well. Next tear down and you see oil passages blocked and starve for oil.
by eck that takes me back. I had a Honda MB5 when i was young. 65cc kit,,bigger jets in carb,,S&B airfilter,, de-restricted exhaust.........55 mph all day long. Thought i was the mutts nuts so i did !! ;-)
Two points : suggest not to use a screwdriver between gears to lock the , use softer metal you'll never damage the teeth. When you knock the bearing from the casings , use a drift (socket) not a hammer direct ... Great vid thanks ....
these motors were also available in Germany with 80cm². they still had the habit of knocking out the seat of the crankshaft bearing on the left. which made it necessary to change the motor housing half or you had someone who could make and use a new one.
Rebuilt these engines maybe 50 times as an early teen in the 80s... Some in worse condition. Made them reach speeds in excess of 65 mph. This engine is not exactly a Raccoon engine. That is only in places like India. It is originally from a Honda MB-5 that was introduced in the late 70s.
I really enjoy your videos, gents! I don't have much mechanical experience, so what you do is practically magic to me. Cheers from flyover country in the midwestern USA! 😎
it would be nice if the color of the left and right blocks are different from the middle block of the engine ... so that the color of the engine varies ...
I know the way he does the piston rings is wrong but still love the videos but normally you put the rod through the cylinder and compress the rings of the piston then put the piston in the cylinder and connect the rod to the crank at bottom dead center that way you don’t damage the rings on piston! I’d imagine the way he did it would end up rings failing and damaged cylinder wall

@@forevercomputing it's better to use both because it prevents leaking even if the matching surfaces are damaged or very poorly machined
He did a full restoration of the bike and motor before this and shows it running and riding! Check it out it’s a Honda raccoon bike
@@forevercomputing I've been told to never use any kind of gasket maker on a motorcycle engine because of the small oil passages in the engine.
Hola buenas tardea. Amigo tu sabes si un motor ts 185 suzuki 2 tiempos, uno prende la moto y se queda acelerada, porque es la falla amigo.

As usual, an amazing work!! Truly impressive!!
You may want to pre-soak your clutch plates before installation. Makes the adjustment a one-time event and you don't burn them after a short while.
Wow... this is the best video for me... thank you vaijan...
What is the total cost of this one?

Protip- never bead blast engine blocks or crank cases or anything with oil galleys、 always use wire wheel
