We compare the graphics of FIFA 16 vs. PES | Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 on PS4. We used PS4 and not PC because both games are optimized for current-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One. We did not use Xbox One version because we got PS4 version first.

Am I the only one who actually prefers FIFA graphics? In this video PES seens better, but on the videogame, FIFA looks more realistic, except for the movimentaion wich is a little robotic. Am I the only one?

+accioh they all look tall and cartoonish. The body models are terrible too. Play PES 2016, you will see a lot of animations when tackling, when pressing, falling, fist touch, they move a lot faster and more responsive.

FIFA 16 requires large space and high system requirements while we can get the same experience in PES 2016 in about half of the space of FIFA 16 and low system requirements....so according to me PES 2016 is better

Such games as FIFA and PES should look better than any other game beacuse it's not a complex game at all. A fucking arena and 22 players on the field....and it looks like a 2005 year game, graphics-wise, a fucking joke.
I didn't mean like a "2005 football game" but a game in general from that time, look for example at crysis how much better it looks than fifa or pes 16 yet so much more complex as a game, ohh and nice language asshole.
+Adii S You also need to consider the budgets for these games. Your shooters have wider budgets and have a Longer history and fiercer competition than FIFA does.
There are only TWO companies making football games, the history does not go as fa back as shooters and there is only so much you change every single year that the new game comes out to bring in new audiences.
With shooters, every edition they can radically change the game....with FIFA, nothing really changes. You update the teams, licenses and improve gameplay and graphics. It is far more niche than your so called shooters will ever be.

I haven't yet played 2016 for either. Having played soccer for years and growing up on Fifa ... When I first popped in pes I think 2011, not only were the graphics better - but I thought it was more true to the game of soccer. They way the players touched the ball, the ball control, and all the little detail. I enjoy both and can see how a gamer would like Fifa or a non soccer player would like Fifa ... But I am curious if any soccer players feel the same way. I may get both but I always was blown away with pes. It reminds me of how 2k took over nba lives spot years ago- that is what pes did to Fifa for me

Match gameplay wise and all, it's tight.
There are some things I think look a lot more thought through on FIFA, like the shooting physics (which seem to floaty on PES), while there are things on PES that I think on PES are vividly and physically superior, such as the small graphical details to simple things like the ball and player's boots and nets. The appearance is more detailed and player engines for each individual player is more accurate and realistic.
PES has taken things a step further by allowing the download of real team kits and emblems etc., and not gutting out the amazing creative suite that it has. PES is more fluid in motion most of the time too and not too clunky.
FIFA Career Mode is absolutely fantastic. Commentating is GENERALLY (and genuinely) fantastic, and is far more in-depth and fun than previous installments to the series.
Overall, they both have their negatives, and each one feels like a VERY different game. Yes, they are both football games, but you don't ever think ("Oh, this is the same. No difference whatsoever"). And the positives are varied. You can enjoy each game for different reasons.
I'D SAY HAVE BOTH FOR AN ALL-ROUND AWESOME EXPERIENCE OF FOOTBALL VIDEO GAMING. I CAN SAY THIS TOO FIRST-HAND AS I HAVE BOTH GAMES, SO...

I played both FIFA 16 and PES 16.
For me, They both have almost the same graphics quality. Some will say Neymar look way better in PES and some will say Messi look way better in FIFA. BTW i play with PC, GTX 980. So both look amazing to me.
For Fifa Fans, you really need to give a try of PES 16 before saying Fifa 16 is better because PES 16 gameplay is really better than Fifa 16.
For PES Fans, Fifa 16 UI, Online and Licenses are way better. The UI is way more beautiful and easier to use than PES 16.

Compared to, say, PES 13 on Nintendo Wii, it's impressive to see how far graphics have advanced. These games amazing. And yet...the player models still look and move like plastic dolls. They still look like robots. In their best moments, the players look fantastic, but the animations and especially facial movements are just clunky. PES still looks better than FIFA. What else is new?

PES16 has improved on gameplay alot since PES 13-15 but i switched back to FIFA because i was dissapointed with the lack of depth and team liccenses in PES overal FIFA has way more teams and official jersey's etc.. + a deeper online mode.

El pes es mejor en el apartado de realisto visual y en cuanto en el gameplay, el fifa es muy irreal con solo tener un jugador rápido puedes burlarte todo un equipo cosa que no sucede muy seguido, el juego en linea el fifa es muy superior, pero la master liga del pes se me hace más divertida que la del fifa y por último el fifa con todas sus licencias le da un plus.
Prefiero el PES en cuanto a jugabilidad

Ped has certainly upgraded over the years and you can clearly see that however if I were to vote I would say Fifa purely because it gives you more of a realistic feeling

i think fifa make a lot of leap from the past about graphic, its almost level with pes now, they let player choose the gameplay they love. its only matter of gameplay, features that we have to choose.
Only if Konami can improve there running style & slippage avoid they can do much better. Sign Ray Hudson as the commentator and see how PES hits the market.

after being a fifa fan for 6 years in a row i decided to give pes 16 a try and the graphics are the best, it looks sick most players seems exactly like real players in the other hand I didn't like that it doesn't have the rights of a lot of league's like fmf, premiers league and some others nationals teams, even the uniforms and players are designed by pes in my opinion I wouldn't buy this game again just because it doesn't have all the fifas content
