❤❤❤ Really appreciate the actual MUAs of TH-cam who truly teach! You, Robert Welsh, & Alex Anele have really educated me so i can apply a lot of theory on my own, and dont need to just copy creators.
This is such a wonderful compliment, thank you so much for this! Also- Love Robert and Alex, they are both the kindest people !! Thank you for watching my videos I really appreciate it!
Thanks Nikki La Rose, for taking the time to show us all how to not make the old mistakes of the past! You & Marlena Stell are my go-to content creators for makeup instruction. Hope you have a great day!
Wow…just discovered you…I’m much older, but still use a lot of your tips and I still love makeup at 68. I’ve been bingeing all your videos..lol..My last fav for many years was Mel Thompson…❤Thanks for all the time you take actually teaching as you go😊
You have literally changed the way I do my makeup!!! Im 54yo & I still love to rock an 80's Nirvana (Grunge) smokey eye kinda look. I had no middle ground makeup routine. I either went with the "Rolled outta bed" look OR I was wearing a full beat going to the bank kinda girl. I finally have a routine that is suitable for running around doing everyday stuff.... No More Tammy Fae!! 😅😅
No one can give this much details as you Nikki, I’ve watched a lot of influencers and content creators already. Honestly speaking, you give us a lot of useful tips and not just showing what products to use but also how to apply them better. I so love you and your influence, just beautiful in and out. ❤
thank you for always emphasizing that makeup looks different on different faces! i really value your techniques- they work because they’re about artistry not trends! 💘💖💕✨😇 always look forward to watching
You’re so authentic & caring in giving tips to your subscribers so they can be successful in doing it themselves. Very encouraging & no funny antics during explanations! Thx.
Thank you Nikki for all the tips. I have hooded eyes and love winged liner and I needed this tutorial on how you should apply it correctly. I also benefited from the tip on bronzer and the cream blush. Love, love🤎
I LOVE the winged eye tricks, Nikki! I'm 56, although I'm blessed with not too many wrinkles, lol, I do have the challenge of being predominately bedbound. I need to apply my makeup in bed, with one hand holding my mirror, and one with the pencil, so this trick looks really easy to do without needing to pull on my eye in any way with my other hand. I've been doing something similar with elf's "wing stamp" brush; I either run some liquid eyeliner pen or eye pencil along the edge orrrr dampen the brush and press it into dark shadow. I love how you took it to the next level by pulling it out and sharpening the line with the damp brush. Brilliant little tricks!!
The blush tip was the best!! Does the same concept work with powder products; blush, bronzers, etc..? I would love to see more tutorials on the basics! Thank you! ❤
This is a true Masterclass😍🙏🏾, so grateful for it and would love to know more about blending techniques and differences between different brushes depending on what kind of makeup effect you want. You are an icon Nikki!💕
Another woman with assymetrical eyes here, I also wanted to say that the bronzer/blush technique makes it look and sound almost like an oil painting, where the layer beneath has to dry first, before the next one is applied to create the illusion of layers of colours swimming or hovering above each other translucentky, this is exactly what we just learned, ❤️.
I've been binge watching your videos and let me tell you i can't get enough, im usually bored with most makeup content and want something interesting and you're so interesting and have all this information and is always helpful, ive been going through a depressive breakup and you have been helping get my mind off of it and actually work on myself, and makeup has always been an outlet for me and always made me happy, thank you for being you, you're such a beautiful person, i hope one day i get to meet you in person, much love nikki
Thank you so much for watching my videos I’m so happy you have been able to use them as a nice distraction, ugh so sorry to hear you are going through that, breakups are the worst but somehow you always get through them so just keep your head up babe ❤️ keep focusing on yourself. Sending you the biggest hug right now.
I get so much out of all your videos! I just love how you truly want every one of your viewers to be the best version of themselves. Makeup class is in session!❤❤❤
Thank you so much Nikki! for taking the time to do this tutorial. I have learned so much already. I’ve been wearing my make the wrong way all this time. Especially the wing for my hooded eyes. Appreciate it. Thanks again. 😊
I so appreciate your tutorials. I am an esthetician student and I have done my own makeup for r6 years. I will be 60 in January. I will be licensed to also do makeup in April. I attend am amazing school but I could never pay enough for the training you provide ❤❤I'm new to your channel and watch every chance I get. Thank you so much. I found you from Lisa J's channel
Wow! I never noticed your eyes until you pointed them out. That means you do a great job of doing your makeup according to the shapes of both of them. Love your content 🤍
I just found your channel this evening! I am so excited!! You provide incredible tutorials!! Break it down, talk through all the steps - exactly what I’ve been looking for! Thank you so much!! You are gorgeous and amazing! ❤
I can’t believe this liner trick actually works! I’m not trying the liquid yet, but the pencil eyeliner trick has definitely helped me get a little flick . Thanks so much!
Thank you so much. I just replicated your no-makeup makeup look today and everyone loved it. Wings are the next thing I want to conquer. The thing that makes me the most nervous is how to work out the angle it should tip up by.
I'm a newbie to makeup and have learned so much from your content. I tried lining my lips for the first time and something about it was off. I saw your tip and OMG it's a gamechanger!!!
Love all the tips! As always, you are super helpful. Thank you, Nikki! Could you create a video on best practices for deep-set eyes? Or, possibly a video showing the best blush and powder techniques & products when there is texture and scarring around the cheekbone?
Just wanted to add my THANKS, Nikki!! I adore watching makeup videos and spending time applying makeup and YOU are such a pleasure because I LOVE how you teach. I always always learn from you! What I would give to spend a couple hours with you doing perhaps a couple different makeup looks!
You’re the best Nikki. I really appreciate you ❤😊. Now I need tips on what shades to use on my skin color. Could you do a video on how to choose your shades on deeper and darker skin tones please? Love ya❤
Nikki, your tips are all invaluable to me particularly the tip about blending blush on your hand prior to applying, & your tip about eyeliner wing. That one is priceless! I am 75 with slightly hooded eyes….something new to me as I’ve aged….I don’t like it. After I watched your tip I immediately tested it on myself using MAC’s Color Excess gel pencil/crayon gel in the color Sick Tat Bro, a very dark brown that doesn’t budge at all after application. Did it just the way you said - AMAZING! Works perfectly! Best eyeliner tip I’ve EVER learned. Thank you so much for making me look better & providing confidence in doing the dreaded wing eyeliner! Becky ❤️
Perhaps the most useful make up application video I have seen on you tube! Thank you Nikki! Could you perhaps do a very easy fool proof video of natural / basic eyeshadow application for hooded eyes.. ( love make up but not much of a natural make up artist here 😂😂. )
Excellent video, love the eyeliner tip. Would you please do a video on brushes, synthetic vs natural and when to use. Also your recommendation on brushes you can purchase now, i.e., ., you lost all your brushes what would you buy that are versatile and can be used for multiple purposes.
Your videos are so detailed and educational! I really love them! Was wondering if you have any makeup tips specifically for mature skin (60+), I am struggling with concealers and marionette lines… My skin is in good/healthy condition but wanted to improve my makeup skills 😃 Thanks!
Thank you Nikki, this was so useful. I love the look of contour but I have melasma or brown spots right where you would start contour by the side of face. I feel contour would bring out those spots in that area. How can I work it so it doesn’t look like I’m layer so much to hide these spots? I love your look each and every time. Thank you!!
Thank you Nikki for these game changing tips. I have very hooded eyes and have always struggled with the eyeliner. Some of my wings became very drastic...lol! These are all great tips and I will use them all. I am so appreciative of all your videos since my skills are self taught but not all that great. Practice Practice Practice!
Nikki …THANK you SO much for the eyeliner help, this is exactly what I needed. You always have such original tips an explain in an approachable way. This was such a fantastic video ❤❤❤❤
Thanks a lot Masteress Nikki, to learn us how to upgrade our make-up. We are grateful for the time you give us😊! It's always a pleasure to see you ! Kisses from France 😘
Thank you for sharing your techniques! The preblending of blush and lip liner application were esp helpful. W these asymmetrical hoods (that seem to be more hooded by the hr), I don’t do a wing since it’s nearly impossible. Mascara, one and done shadow, and if I’m feeling spicy, line my lashes subtlely!
Always busy with life and get the best treats watching you online when I finally get a break! Nikki, you always amaze me with your talent, knowledge fantastic presentations and that original and sooo unique Nikki personality! Write the book PLEASE!!
Wow, I learned so much from your video, changes my life and look, you’re the best❤ thank youuuu Niki, I’m so lucky to find you. You made me more beautiful with your tips 🎉
Ypu Amaze me And Inspire me! You are the MUA On TH-cam That Run to. I CANT with Anyone But you ! Thabks for sharing Uour wisdom and Tricks! Education Queen! Thankyou!
Thank you Nikki for all the great tips! I have learned so much in the past few months. I am in my 60's and the struggle is real ;) Would you consider a video explaining water based foundations compared to silicone based foundations and there best uses e.g. dry skin, oily skin, texture, best for aging skin...? ❤
Same! Only one ive seen on YT doing that! It's how i hold my hand when writing too so guess seeing her do it makes me feel better bc ive gotten teased for holding my pen(cils) "wrong"..
These tips are SO GOOD! the closing the eye part is something I never thought of! Thanks for taking the time to make the content. Do you have a cheat sheet or guide or anything?
Just found your channel yesterday and ❤❤❤. These tips are incredibly helpful😊. While I've learned alot about makeup ever since discovering ppl like yourself here on YT, I'm by no means a MUA so there will always be more to learn.
So glad I found your page !!! Just recently became a pro mua and looking for new tips to try and your videos are soo helpful and just so nice to watch !
Nikki I absolutly frickin LOVE you soooo much, youve quickly risen to be one of my top favorite beauty content creators, ive been watching makeup videos for 15 years at least and so im not sure why ive never come across you before. I have SO much respect for you and the time you take to bring us these super informative and 💫impactful videos lol the one and ONLY “critique” i have is can you pretty please maybe show some zoomed in shots? like when youre stamping the liner on your hooded eye for example. if it makes your life or editing difficultt then i think i can live lol 🌹 ❤😘😘🥰🥰😇😇
Nikki, I need to thank you for showing us the Lottie London Mascara...you are right it is fantastic! I'm in shock! I've been looking for a really good drugstore mascara and now, thanks to you, I have found one! Thanks again!
This video really helped me I just learned how to apply blush and bronzer the correct way and omg the lipliner, I was applying it the wrong way this whole time and getting terrible results so I stopped wearing lip liner completely. Thank you so much for teaching us the right way ur an amazing MUA and I’m so thankful to have found your channel on here❤❤❤
Idk how I’ve never come across you before, but you’re amazing!!! I’m now binging all your episodes!! Lol 💝 thank you for all the work you put into these! And for not trying to be over the top theatrical and dramatic! You are so humble and down to earth! ❤️❤️❤️
Niki la Rose you have just changed my life! Over the past two years I've been learning how to do my own makeup. This video just brought my skill set to a whole new level!!!!! Thank you for doing hooded eye specific tips as I have hooded eyes, no wonder eyeliner has been the bane of my existence. I'm looking forward to trying all these tips out. Your channel has been one of my main sources and inspirations (props for doing every bronzer or blush videos, by chance are you doing any other categories??) Makeup is now a medium I play with and an activity I use to calm and focus myself
One of the most incredible videos I have ever seen. So awesome ❤️. Thank you for taking the time to give us a much better way to do makeup. As always love your videos.
Wow, I can totally tell with the lip liner & it seems like the order in which everything is done really helps too. This was so helpful. Thanks doll ❤ you're the best. My makeup has never looked so good then when I started watching your videos. Xoxoxox
This is so interesting! I recently discovered i can wear several looks that i thought made my eyes look too tiny and mean, but if i remove the tiny bit of makeup from my outer corner/lid intersection (and the invisible line that would be most people's wing) and create an outer corner & liner wing just a millimeter above the "real" one, it looks fantastic! Still trying to figure out the color/light theory reason, but at least i can wear darker lid colors and shimmers on my outer brow bone!
Girl, I feel ya with the asymmetrical, hooded eyes issue lol. I basically had to Mad Scientist the hell out of my eyeliner to get it even and looking good. It's so nice when I'm doing eye makeup on someone else because it's ten times easier than doing it on myself lol. ❤😂
❤❤❤ Really appreciate the actual MUAs of TH-cam who truly teach! You, Robert Welsh, & Alex Anele have really educated me so i can apply a lot of theory on my own, and dont need to just copy creators.
Agreed! They are the best and have actual helpful tips and tricks
💯
This is such a wonderful compliment, thank you so much for this! Also- Love Robert and Alex, they are both the kindest people !! Thank you for watching my videos I really appreciate it!
I completely agree and 'd like to add Wayne Goss to this list!
Agreed!! I follow Alex and Robert as well. Truly useful tips.
As someone who has been watching YT beauty videos for YEARS, I feel like I’ve learned SO much from this video. Thank you for sharing!! ❤
Thanks Nikki La Rose, for taking the time to show us all how to not make the old mistakes of the past! You & Marlena Stell are my go-to content creators for makeup instruction. Hope you have a great day!

The “elevator music” while blending is hilarious! New fan here, thanks for the great tips!! ❤

I tend to be heavy handed with makeup. I am trying to learn a lighter everyday look, too. I am 57. My generation liked the makeup to be noticeable! 🤣
No one can give this much details as you Nikki, I’ve watched a lot of influencers and content creators already. Honestly speaking, you give us a lot of useful tips and not just showing what products to use but also how to apply them better. I so love you and your influence, just beautiful in and out. ❤
You’ve helped me get excited about make up again, and not only products but also application. I was uninspired for so long.
thank you for always emphasizing that makeup looks different on different faces! i really value your techniques- they work because they’re about artistry not trends! 💘💖💕✨😇 always look forward to watching

Hung Vanngo does this eyeliner technique, too! I love how you broke it down step by step for us, I feel more confident to try it out. Thanks!❤
Oh nice!! Love him!! And thank you so much for watching and sharing this feedback!
You have no idea how helpful this video is for me. Being a mature woman it is so important to be precise and blended. Thank you so much!❤😊

Thanks Nikki! I have hooded eyes so I did the winged eye trick and it works! I’ve never drawn such perfect eye wings before, it’s a really helpful tip
Did not even notice the asymmetry ❤ still gorgeous 😍
I did the eyeliner today…..woohoo….for the first time, in a long time, my wing looked so good…..thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
U ateeee with the pre blend like omg duh
Always learn something from a professional - the lip liner tip about smiling a bit, works like a charm 💜

I feel you Nikki! I have the EXACT same asymmetrical eyes! Thanks for the tips! You are the best!
It’s so nice to hear I’m not alone with this !!!🫣

I really like her advice about the eyeliner wing. I've tried it on myself and it looks waayy better 😅 thank you ❤️
Between you and Lisa J...such great tips! Thank you!
I can’t believe this liner trick actually works! I’m not trying the liquid yet, but the pencil eyeliner trick has definitely helped me get a little flick . Thanks so much!
That’s so crazy I have NEVER noticed the difference in your eyes! Even all the times I watched you apply eyeshadow! 🤪 WOW. ❤M
LIFE. CHANGING. Thank you, Nikki!! ❤
Thank you so much. I just replicated your no-makeup makeup look today and everyone loved it. Wings are the next thing I want to conquer. The thing that makes me the most nervous is how to work out the angle it should tip up by.
The variety of textures in the *luxdups* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Wow, the blush ad the lip contour is really a game changer! I steal it 😉
When teacher Nikki speaks, we listen. That's what we do 💗💗💗

This was so helpful! I would love to learn how to select a type of brush (flat, stippling, dense, etc) for types of product (cream, liquid, etc).
Perhaps the most useful make up application video I have seen on you tube! Thank you Nikki! Could you perhaps do a very easy fool proof video of natural / basic eyeshadow application for hooded eyes.. ( love make up but not much of a natural make up artist here 😂😂. )
Ahhhh that’s incredible to hear, what an amazing compliment, thank you!!!!!
Love the tip to lift the corners of the mouth! It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes!❤
I am a beginner in makeup and trying to use lip liner on my lips the slightly smiling lips trick it actually gives me the perfect shape.
You helped me do my wedding makeup through these videos and I greatly appreciate that!!! You rock
Awesome video ! I would love if you could do one on what blush color goes with what lipstick . It would be so helpful ! Thank u

Nice! I love to hear this! Sometimes all it takes is just experimenting with the placement!
What a great tutorial ... tysvm Nikki!! You are awesome!
