This how you know it's great. I can hear the melodies, harmonies, chord progressions solo in my head after just one listen. No autotune. No trap, no repeating the same lame figure and a couple of chords over and over with a producer's computer doing most of the work. Now, I will listen over and over again. Some in the early 2000s but you don’t get the same musicianship. With Toto, you can get a little of most genres within their catalog. And damn can they play.
Hadn't dug into my SL CD's in awhile. Got here by way of binge watching Gino Vanneli. So happy I did. This song reminds me of a stranger I met. We had an instant connection but I never saw him again. It also reminds me of my loved ones gone including my beloved maltipoo. ❤

This fact & this song, as well as an email from a mentor & kickass business woman I know & follow, about her father chasing but never catching his dreams only to end up bagging groceries at 73 ... have given me a real kick in ass to focus on the things I want and need to do in order to retire comfortably, have a good life and pay it forward.
