I checked other peoples crocheted leaf tutorial and being a learner I found it difficult an I came across your tutorial and it was so easy to follow thank you
This was the only instructional video I was able to find online on how to crochet a leaf that I actually understood. Thanks so much for sharing this and making it easy.
HI YOLANDA, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENT AND PEACEFUL VIDEOS.........YOU HAVE COME THROUGH FOR ME AGAIN AND REMEMBER WE LOVE YOU AND GOD LOVES YOU TOO!
Thank you Yolanda for such a clear and precise tutorial - I am just learning to crochet and you have made it very easy for me to learn. Thank you again for sharing you talent with us all.
Kindest regards
Sheena (UK)
Yolanda, God bless you. I love your instructional videos. I have used several of your patterns. Keep up the wonderful videos. You are very talented, and I have learned a lot from you. God bless you and your beautiful skill.
I want to thank you for your very clear instruction on how to crochet a leaf! I have checked a lot of tutorial and for the first time my leaf looks like a leaf! God bless the works of your hands!
This pattern is perfect for what I need. I'm going to start doing trebles the way you do them. It looks much easier. I've always struggled with them. Thanks!
Happy to help
This is perfect! Needed to make one for a crocheted pumpkin. And I like your trebles better! Really makes a lovely uniform look next to other stitches. Thank you and God keep you safe!
If you do just the first side it also makes a nice narrower leaf. Thanks so much for the great tutorial.
I knew I could count on you to help me with a small leaf for my strawberry hat. I put a slip stitch along the center to have a raised look. Thank You, crochet on my friend.
I don't know what I would do with out you!!!! Thank you so much for your videos, they are awesome. I've put so many smiles on faces with the things I've created with your videos (especially my daughter).
Thank you for a clear, easy-to-understand video. As a new crocheter, I really appreciated the way you talked us through the mechanics of each stitch as you worked the leaf. Not only was I able to successfully make the leaf on my first try, but I also understood the construction of it. It reminded me of how I learned to knit years ago: by sitting next to my grandma and following along with my own yarn & needles as she showed me exactly what to do. :)
tried many instructions offered by youtube & You are the best ! Thanks a million.
I liked your leaf so well, when I came back to beginning of the leaf instead of going down the other side I chained ten again and made five leaves joined them together and put them on top of my pumpkin I made! Thank you I really enjoy your tutorials.
I love the way you explain it in simple terms too like going through one or 2 loops cause as a beginners I am still learner the crochet terms
thank you for showing this video. this is my first leaf ever. thanks for showing this wonderful video on making a leaf.
Fantastic! Beautifully shown. Turned out lovely.
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Yolanda, I love your crochet tutorials! Thank you for taking time to share your gift with all of us. The stitch you referred to as a "triple" I learned as an "extended double crochet". For the triple, I learned to wrap the yarn around the hook twice then insert the hook into the stitch below, pull up a loop, y.o., pull through 2 loops a total of 3 times to complete the stitch. I made your leaf doing two of "your triples" with one of "my triples" between them, and it looks great. 😃 Again thank you for all you do. You bring joy to crocheters all over the world. 😊💗

I have never seen a treble done that way, but it sure makes more sense than trying to control the extra yarnover loops the way I was originally taught - thank you for the surprise extra knowledge, I'll be trying the stitch this new way!

thank you so much, i hate making leaves but you have made it very easy xx
One of the best tutorials I've watched your voice is so pleasant and you speak so kindly and teach excellently! Thank you so much!God bless
thank you
in the last of the row 1 where you repeat the first part of the leaf.(1hdc in next ch, 1dc in next chain, 1 tr cr into next 3 chains, 1dc into nex ch, 1 hdc in next ch 3 sc in last ch.) then you repeat it in reverse only you left the 1 hdc out of your instructions that were on the screen. Love your tutorials and watch them all the time. I have learned a lot from you. Keep crocheting...Thanks much..Diane
I'm sorry I miss wrote it should have been 1 dc into next ch, 1 hdc in next chain, 1 dc in next chain, 1 tr into next 3 chains, 1 dc into next ch, 1 hdc in next ch,...etc, then when you repeated it for the last part of that side of the leaf you left out the 1 hdc. Did I read it wrong or is it really an error in the script on the screen?
its v.ery neat and clear so that I felt easy. Thanks a lot.
I love your videos, very easy to understand . Thank you

I really like the way you make your trebles. I’ve never seen them done that way and I think I prefer your way much better as I always find it difficult/awkward to double wrap my hook.
thank you, I made my first leaf as a beginner. God loves you too :))

Gracias yola por compartilo tu con nosotros ! Dios te bendiga :)
From what I have learned you do what's called an extended treble crochet. You can do it with all stitches. It just makes it a little taller. Going to find the rosebud now. Thanks.
