The person she was *built* to care for is gone-replaced by something else. Not to mention CYN/the Solver breathing down her neck this whole time to pretend everything is fine and play along. Despite the things she's done, i can’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy for her, left with no one and nothing on that wrecked ship in the end credits
I never was the biggest fan of K J, but I do really like her character, and this actually made me cry..Her best friend died and she still thought she was there. And V and N are friends with Uzi.

I heard a theory a little bit ago when Episode 8 came out, and the theory was the only reason J was working with Cyn was because Cyn was controlling Tessa’s body, meaning that Cyn was the only part of her best friend left. Think that fits well.

I felt so bad for J. Ever since I watched EP 5 (home) I realized J didn't suck and was only sad about Tessa not being on her side and was just left with V and N. and nobody even cares and just sees J as a villain who sucks and got 7% time.

@@22mollieT Because on top of regular Disassembly Drone angst: - She was forced (or tricked) to work for the monster that literally destroyed her entire world, which was breathing down her neck this whole time (see the relay scene in Ep2). - She then had play along as that monster impersonated the only person, she ever seemed to actually care about (using her corpse as a puppet). - Then drew battle lines with the only people she had left after all this, so that when the dust settled, and the monster was finally defeated -- she was left with no one and nothing.

In the canon show J is never treated nicely (except by Tessa) but when people make edits,animatics,memes or theories they always treat her as part of the main gang. We never see anything like that in MD but it’s nice she’s always included :)

The fact that i actually cryed over this (I'm not joking) shows my sympathy for J. Even though she was an antagonist who didn't consider to join the good side i kind of understand why she would do this. Tessa was her best friend & would do anything to protect her & now that she's dead she didn't wanna let go of Tessa & was probably threatened by Cyn to work against Uzi, N & V. She didn't deserve that ending & Tessa didn't deserve to die. I hate & love Cyn at the same time & feel bad for all these trauma babies 😭

It actually never dawned on me until now that no one else is there for her.
