These rockers when used with some LS heads, the head need to be clearance'd on the push rod side. I had an issue with these on my 799 LS heads, which are equivalent to the 243 heads. They came in contact with the head after install.
@@michaelw.5921 the stock aluminum valve cover doesn't have baffles like the stock stamped steel cover. You don't need to remove the baffles or anything for it to fit with the aluminum cover but it comes really close to hitting on the ends. I never actually ran it with the stock cover so I'm not sure if it has enough clearance while running its supposed to but I ended up buying a tall billet aluminum cover because I just didn't want to mess with the valve cover spacers and stuff if there was clearance issues

You can use the stock valve cover.How ever you must remove the baffles from the stock valve cover.
By removing the baffles it will get oil through the breathers
