বারাসাতে বিজয়া সিনেমা প্রেক্ষাগৃহে তখন জলসার আসর বসতো ততবার ধীরেন বসুর গান শুনেছি। অনুষ্ঠান জমাতে ও মজা করতে জুড়ি ছিল না। খুব ভালোবাসি ধীরেন বসুর গান। বহুদিন পর সুন্দর সুন্দর গান গুলো শুনতে খুব ভালো লাগছে। বর্তমান ছেলে মেয়ে রা এইসব গানের মর্ম বুঝবে না। খুবই দরদী শিল্পী। দরদ দিয়ে গান করেন।

In spite of the terrible torture and oppression of the British rulers and the sinister-motives of our neighbor Hindu Malauns, Nazrul gave us a lot of poetic presentations. He couldn't display his full poetic brilliance because of the hostile environment. He was alive for a long time after losing his power of remembrance. May his departed soul be happy.
