It's interesting to me how the scenery changes as we ride closer to each other and becomes more and more similar. I have to say my trip up from Santa Fe up to La Veta then down to Trinidad was really great. The only bad part was up around highway 160 in CO the little CT125 was really struggling up the steepness of the hills and I was trying to be cool and ride on the shoulder and wave cars around but there were a LOT of pissed off auto drivers at me. Flipping me the bird, etc. Part of the reason I jumped over and rode the Old La Veta Pass Rd - which was AWESOME. In retrospect I should have scoped out more roads like that around that way - but I was on a mission to meet my friend. Hats off to you Ang for riding the whole way, but I don't regret shipping my bike and starting in NM. --JP

Yeah, if I do the TAT I'm on Team CRF300L. But the CT125 has a lot going for it, for sure.

Laughed so much at the reunion and glad it was in this episode. You have encouraged me to be less "please don't pull out in front of me and kill me" when I ride on the slab. As a TW 200 rider, I am eternally getting passed and hovering on the far right of the road. Similar feeling... stressed that I am holding people up. There's the ever-present guy who won't pass and just embeds himself behind me at 10 mph lower than the posted speed limit. Just go around me, please, it's doing my head in! Don't make me lose momentum and careen into that gravel!

Then at the very very end seeing Ang & Pow each just come into frame at the very very edges of either side of the screen.... literally and honestly gave me tears of joy. This is real. Yes! This is what I've been waiting for: big, expanseive mountain views. There's something about the western states that is just absolutely breathtaking. Eastern states ain't bad, but just not the same. I'm Australian and we have a severe lack of big mountains over here. I hiked the pacific crest trail a few years ago and it was the most incredible experience of my life, mostly because I got to spend 6 months in the mountains

There’s a place in Texas called “Go Powersports” they sell a little bit of everything for Mini-Bikes, Go-Carts, etc…
They sell a very nice “pre-stretched” racing chain quite possibly in the size of the CT, Monkey, and Grom.
Of course it would be an “order online” kinda thing but maybe something to look into when you’re back home or bored at a campground/hotel lol. Just an idea, maybe to have an extra/spare that you won’t have to check on as much during a trip.
