im a full time musician - produced for some big artists and also have been releasing my own music for years and loved this podcast. so much valuable info! also the last part of this when graham went full finance mode was great, that was the moment we were all waiting for haha. thx for this one!!!!
Dude says he hasn't spent 40k on himself in past 4 years, but it sounds like he isn't counting his group experiences as his own even if they are. He is still spending basically all his money on himself, but he does in an indirect way that can also benefit his acquaintances in order to justify it to himself. Splurging on Michelin star food suggests he values experiences over monetary wealth, but that may change if he ages.
Transitioning from work to live, to live to work actually made me happier. Some people are wired to live this way i guess. Also, my big splurge area is dinners at nice restaurants.
Most rich people stay rich by spending like the poor and investing without stopping then most poor people stay poor by spending like the rich yet not investing like the rich but impressing them. People prefer to spend money on liabilities, Rather than investing in assets and be very profitable
Now, I Just realized that the secret to making a million is saving for better trades. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money trading. For example last year I Traded with 10k in Crypto and made about $146k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million
The process of trading can be complicated when you have limited knowledge. However, with the right strategy and setups, you can be successful. I'm guided by Josh Olfert. A widely known consultant
You can see the generational gap in music consumption. Jake recognizes the artists while Ghram digs deep into his memory of possibly knowing each artist named
as a social test, has anyone ever heard of bbno$ before this podcast? i listen to literally every genre, all day long, go to festivals year round, and have never even heard of this artist's name. something odd happening with the play counts here...
Graham really needs to get people like this and Jennette Mccurdy into a celebrity client advisory group. With the goal of creating fallback backstops. Put little nest eggs away for them for later in life when all the polish and gloss has gone. Some little house in some little town where they can retire and do a Steve Carell. Ask me for details if you want G.
I have found that bringing friends out to eat and enjoy the experience is pretty self fulfilling. It's the one thing that doesn't bother me to spend money on and not even worry about. Food brings humans together.
Went to El Rancho market bought 2 pounds of carnitas and a pack of tortillas, fed 6 of my coworkers each of us spent $5 , had an amazing time, the other $495 put it in NVIDIA stock 05/2021 👍
Thank you Kyle. These are the important metrics that need to be tested, holding the OEMs accountable when they charge $$$ but make vehicles that charge like “ass” (technical term)
Jack saying that Kendrick got worse after GKMC and Tyler got worse after Wolf. Literally made TPAB, widely considered the best record of the 2010’s, then Damn and Mr Morale also classics. Then Tyler dropping Igor, widely considered his best album. Not to mention Flower Boy, Call me if you get lost and Chromakopia. All classics. Some terrible music takes Jack.
I also like Tyler at Flower Boy and prior more, but that doesn't mean what came after is worse. It's just a lot different from what he used to make. I think he made a lot of newer fans that don't like his older music as much, and that's great because his newer music is a lot more successful.
34:08 so true. I may love a song, but it will fade, relatively quickly. But when I like an Artist as a person, or at least a character, I am much more likely to keep listening and listening to new things.
He should go harder on the merch side, especially to offset costs of his voluntours. His style is great and a big part of his public persona. He could probably make some awesome legit clothing/merch lines. People clean up with that.
I am from the future, absolutely good as edamame episode, wait until you see the next guest 🤯 Kidding about the time travel (or am I?) 😁 can't wait to watch this, love his style in writing music.
Just going home. I did get promoted in the Army. I was also going for my 3rd degree black belt, but I missed it by a little so they told me I can retest in 3 months. How's everything been for you?
Cancer, I am like it's all about food. The home part is a little bit confusing , because Cancers are all about home, a place to come to, but could be his or office or something else.
I totally Agree at 40:51, there something inside of human beings that just get bored or tired of the same thing and lose interest, It happens in all parts of life. I never realize so many hidden things about Music creation there is. Thanks for a whole new way of viewing Music. Oh, I really enjoy this video. Grad. on 1 Million subs.
Success is dependent on the action or steps you take to achieve it.. show me a man who doesn't have an investment and I will tell you how soon he'll go broke .. investment is building a safe heaven for the future. with the right choice of investment that has at least 1% minimum risk and with an expert guidance profit and interest is 100% guaranteed.
Okay update looked up his music, I’m getting old cus I just don’t get it. 😭 man gen z the time has come I guess I’m a millennial and just don’t get it 😭😭😭
I wrote a comment on a Peterson clip, slightly negative not that bad, then I get a warning about harassment. First time that has happened. What a joke 👎 groosssss
Not sure how you came to that conclusion. The point of the jeans story was to show that his friends were surprised by a purchase that was abnormal for him, not that the jeans were expensive lol. For someone who makes as much money as him, he can surely afford more expensive things but doesn’t care to buy them.
@stephc7723 Hes not the cheapest dude. Im aware of that, he doesnt care the price if the end result givs him what hes looking for. The cheapest guy is like Graham before he becamr a multi-millionairr. Theres plenty of people living with their parents with wealth, because hosuing costs are stupid rn.
40:24 I really hope he’s right. I find AI art, music, etc so boring. Whether you’re a casual listener or get deep in the weeds, I want to know that it is coming from the perspective of a human being. I hope people get bored. But I’ll also hear things like, this person I’ve never heard of wrote the song, another artist bought it and sings it, and then it’s kind of lost its soul to me…it’s a business at the end of the day. So I could see people not caring. People buy garbage mass produced art from Home Goods instead of supporting and seeking struggling artists. Indie game developers make beautifully crafted games, but Fortnite and Roblox consume the majority of the market. I hope the AI dehumanizing of everything that is probably coming, hits a point where people are bored and we return to at least a balance.
BBNO$ is real for this. Great podcast fellas
What up c boys ! C boys based
I wont support an idiot who disrespects money, by going negative -$100k 😊
Cboys on next?
I like how he says he cheap and Graham blushes. Classic.
That was a great effect. Iykyk.
I love getting the inside look at something like this. Most artists never divulge like bb boi did

One of the coolest colabs ina bit.
Enjoy!
This dude is one of the REALEST artists out there.
so many new insights about music industry
Yeah, this was really eye-opening!

You are so correct! Save, invest and spend for necessities and a few small luxuries relatives to one's total assets ratio.
Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.

Hello how do you make such?? I'm a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down 🤦♀️of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God

We want Doge Millonaire guy back on the podcast! Give us an update!
The collab we needed
Best collab of 2024
Now you guys need to get Yung Gravy on
Yes!
This is one of the coolest interviews you've had. Good work!
BBNO$ showing his affinity for Diablo 2 talking about prefixes and suffixes
Awesome wholesome guy. I really enjoyed this interview.
Love that y’all are bringing in people from other industries 🙌🏾 Y’all should bring on Nic D. He’s another independent artist that’s killing it
as a social test, has anyone ever heard of bbno$ before this podcast? i listen to literally every genre, all day long, go to festivals year round, and have never even heard of this artist's name. something odd happening with the play counts here...
As an independent musician, we make about 1/3 of a penny per stream, if we have no label and own all the masters.
Love this ❤
I love him so much
Finally a different type of guest ... Had no idea who this guy is but this qas cool ! Cheers from your biggest fan in Colombia amigos!
amazing editing in that intro holy crap

Graham looking ripped! Keep it up!

1:31:34 I saw BBNO$ in a free concert in Halifax, NS, and I screamed BABY GOT SOME MONEEEYYYY and bro started geeking on stage. Fond memory for me 😂
He doesn't realize its the price of concert tickets are too high, 200-500 for shit seats is ridiculous.
Just got a ticket for his London show. Sadly it’s only a 2000 not a 5000 capacity for him but looking forward to it
Thank you Kyle. These are the important metrics that need to be tested, holding the OEMs accountable when they charge $$$ but make vehicles that charge like “ass” (technical term)
This is a solid informative episode!
This might be the wrong audience for bbno$, but for me it was super interesting

He's the biggest liar I think you've ever had on the show. Gut feeling from watching it. Great work you two.
I am from the future, absolutely good as edamame episode, wait until you see the next guest 🤯 Kidding about the time travel (or am I?) 😁 can't wait to watch this, love his style in writing music.

What a smart guy. Loved it
Graham almost stroked out when he said my financial advisor only does crypto 😂😂

Just going home. I did get promoted in the Army. I was also going for my 3rd degree black belt, but I missed it by a little so they told me I can retest in 3 months.
How's everything been for you?
BBNo$ is right about the AI art feeling stale. A good book to read and explore that topic is Scythe by Neal Shusterman
It's a cheap off.
Very funny.
Thanks for watching!
Actually pretty good. He sounds really down to earth
Didn't know this guy is Canadian! Cool!
I love how real he is. I like him so much

@@MrsWhite390You are right.
But I don't know why people remain poor due to ignorance
This is super interesting, you never really get the inside scoop on the money side of music
We need Scotty killer on
Scotty Kilmer?
Found this guy from Penguinz0 excited to hear this one!

@TheIcedCoffeeHour Ahhh, my mistake. Looks great though
Great interview but there’s so many ads that it’s ruining the whole experience dude
Is it just me or is Graham starting to look more and more jacked every episode
Idk who he is but this interview is chill
Okay update looked up his music, I’m getting old cus I just don’t get it. 😭 man gen z the time has come I guess I’m a millennial and just don’t get it 😭😭😭

Thank you!
How do you buy $200 jeans and be the cheapest mofo. He just doesn't care to handle money, he's not the cheapest dude

His pillows definitely stink if he doesn't wash his hair hell nah 🤢
👍
