Great vid, Mike, thanks! I use the PS-12120 batteries. I'd like to install a small solar panel to keep them charged in the field. Am I correct that a panel in the 2-5 watt range will be adequate? Thanks!

They have been ordered. Not sure if production has started or not and then shipping so I don't expect to see them before October

using a lifepo4 battery with bms ,to be even further protected against high voltage damage to my browning camera, what size inline fuse would i use?
what voltage would damage my camera
    thanks much for your help

An inline fuse only protects from the fuse backwards to the battery incase the cable shorts out somewhere between that point and the battery. For the last 10plus years I've never used a fuse with a trailcam on external power except my 1800 boxes where there is one inside the box. I have a 2amp fuse on those. I use these batteries on my cams. Their 13+volts is perfectly safe.

apparently you feel the possibility of the battery freaking out and overloading the camera is very low,
      correct?
      thanks for your help again!!

@@jerryellingson7349 I certainly would never say it's not possible because it would prove me wrong. However what do you mean by overload? More voltage? That would not blow a fuse no protection from over voltage. Over current? The only thing that would blow the fuse is more current being pulled through the fuse than the rating. Since current is not forced from the battery but pulled from the battery by the device this again doesn't offer protection from the battery. Also I read over what I typed earlier and worded it incorrectly. If there was a short in the wire after the fuse then the fuse would blow. This would prevent the wire from melting from the short back to the battery.
