- Maybe the Emu was found on a Hobby farm as it was closing down. No one wanted her since she has some health issues, but Aj and Alex stepped up. She blossomed on her farm and bonded with Alex. Everytime Aj comes close to her when she’s with him, she makes sure to tell her. Maybe broken out into the Emu she was always meant to be. And now runs her new sanctuary.

This Emu is just like our dog, Georgy, who is our intelligent JRT, sweet, all around best furbaby, who is spoiled like mad. We adore him with all our heart! Like your Emu when we are both around it's my husband he would choose to follow and play and do everything with. However, when my husband leaves, it is the mommy time.
We both spoil him and love him dearly, and would do anything for him!
Animals are the very best in life. They give us so much and loves us like no other, so they should be treasured by us all.

They are dumb arse birds really, but they can defeat an army. 😜 I was following one in a jeep, there was open bush to the left, open bush to the right, no fences, and the stupid bird just would not get off the road. Dumb arse birds, like "Why does it keep following me? HALP!"

BTW, Kevin's behavior is relative to his male hardwired instinct to protect his female more than his species, and also because histwo remaining braincells are also at war, so he has very short-term memory.
Emus are proof that birds evolved from dinosaurs.
I know that this is true.
I've often wondered, if either humans existed during their time or if they existed no, if they would have similar behaviors as birds.
Perhaps some really nice and love to cuddle, which could flatten a person. LOL
Or mean and aggressive like some birds are (and many people).
It would be fascinating to go back in time to find out.

Are you sure that's a girl emu? These birds are so funny, I've nicknamed them wacky because of the goofy way they run, with their heads bobbing to the side, hilarious. Birds as pets usually are a 60 40 kind of love, they always have a favorite person. Here's to a lovely and very special friendship, may you have many happy years together!👍❤️

Yes emu's are very DANGEROUS. Sorry not to be disrespectful but to the dude that owns the emu it's not Intelligent enough to actually love like a dog or cat. They have about the same intelligence as an ostrich which is not much. Let's see big,strong, instinctively aggressive. Africa and Australia are two of the most violent environments on the planet. Everything there wants to kill you and eat you. Ok so kangaroos don't want to eat you. They still want to disembowel you. Emu's don't make good pets. If you insist on owning one keep a respectful distance. It's hard to tell when the emu's in a bad mood. Of course when it starts kicking you to death you might get the hint. Hint hint. Some animals are not meant to be pets. For example lions, tigers and bears oh my. Cats, dogs, horses, are an example of decent pets. Too those of you who think no animals should be pets. I had a horse that when I entered the pasture would RUN up to me and open his mouth to take the bit. He loved to work. I cried like a baby when he died. My son's asked if I ever cried. My answer was if my heart hurts enough yes. It's OKAY for a man to cry under the right circumstances.

They are the most comical animals, to see them run at full tilt with the legs, head, & body sll going in different directions. Maybe seems really docile compared to other emu's I've seen. Like Michelle on the Gaysian Cowboy's channel, that girl has murder in her heart. It's not funny!
