Regarding the foot work; I am a dancer myself. I’ve trained Riverdance for many years and yes the foot work is that fast. It requires a lot of cardio endurance and leg strength training to be able to pull it off. Some of the steps in this choreo are very similar to Riverdance
About dance as you said about telugus.. you're not wrong.. Actually in india there are 8 classical dances in india having history going back to thousands of years atleast and out of these 8, 4 are from south india. so whenever any south indian movie include any dance number, they obviously hire someone to teach them something new something different and where could they find such teacher? they look them from their areas also (without copying the west) and anyone who teaches them obviosuly have knowledge of these traditional dances thats why they teach such dances/moves which sets them apart from any other dance form.. and dance is not just about movement of body, facial expression is equally important. if you gonna look into these classical dances, you'll be amazed.
