The genius of Brian May is outstanding, damn this band had some major talent in all 4 members. Meanwhile Justin Bieber’s song Yummy is trending on TH-cam. The music in 2020 is a complete joke. Freddie must be spinning in his grave.
This isn’t necessarily true even if it seems like it. Bad and lazy songs existed before, during, and after the time of Queen (hell, I’d say Queen made some pretty bad tunes themselves). There’s good music today even if you think there isn’t-it’s just not “mainstream,” but even that is doing a disservice to the good music today; there’s some great music by popular artists. Good music doesn’t always have to be popular but it helps when it is. I suggest you look around and see that music hasn’t died just because there’s a bad popular song (that’s popular because of how dumb it is, in Yummy’s case) on the charts.
