I like to think I'm pretty good with Kanji's routes.. but this one on 2.0 was a challenge I just couldn't crack. Got to 9931 before I gave up on optimizations, so thanks for the help brother. Seriously though, I made like 5 10k combos on Ultimax 1.1, Kanji's routes have been seriously nerfed.
tell me about it... back on ps3 i never liked routes that involved 5B. it was always so easy to take other players combos and modify them to make them yours and i recreated quite a few combos in my own image.. so when you saw a Kanji online doing some wack shit you didn't have to see the player's name to know who that kanji was but god damn wtf did they do to my boy.. i swear on my ancestors someone on the development team didn't and still doesnt like Kanji Tatsumi jfc you cant even wall bounce off C version Primal Charge anymore.. (gonna go for a walk and clear my mind)
@@Rennikz kanji was seriously nerfed in 2.0. he junpei tier now. which is funny because at the very least shadow junpei is good, but in kanjis case not even s.kanji is good
I started playing P4A when it came out and you were the first Kanji I would religiously watch for combos and ideas. P4AU was pretty meh to me so I didn't play it, but now I picked it up on Steam and mannn Kanji is still fun. Glad to see you're still playing! (sort of)
@@guambombboy No prob! But if it's alright to ask, what do you feel so far about 2.0 Kanji? Iirc, he apparently got hit bad w/ nerfs in this version. I know it's kinda early to tell but I was just curious what you might think.
@@ihatehaters231 Yeah, the new proration takes away a lot of his 5AAA ending combos that he relies on for knockdown and oki afterwards. He can still manage very well and has a little more options in his combo route.
@@guambombboy Sorry, there was one more thing I wanted to ask. What's your opinion on the nerf to SB command grab's damage? Imo, it just seems really unfair that they turned it into an overglorified C grab while seemingly giving nothing back to compensate.
