Mac is my favorite rapper. Dudes sick as hell on the mic. I’m glad he’s free but I’m sad he didn’t get to experience the crazy wealthy life he deserved for his talent
I was locked up around Mac at Hunt Correctional Center from 05-08 era. Dude changed my mindset and woke me up while peeling pecans. I had to be 17-18 years old at the time. Dude opened a rotten pecan and called me by nickname “Monroe “. I asked him wassup and dude got on some deep stuff. “What if it’s a cure for hiv in this molded pecan?” He asked me. Then he told me about molded bread being used to make antibiotics and other things. Just wanted to thank you for that conversation

So to answer your question, no, initially I would not be ecstatic. My emotions would be all over the place. Yet after taking the time to learn about the case and what actually happened, I would not harbor any hate in my heart towards someone who was wrongfully convicted. I would be happy to see them free, because what’s the sense of holding someone who’s innocent of the crime. Now I know that I won’t be able to get my relative back, but me being angry at the alleged suspect won’t help bring them back either. I would want the person who actually did the crime to be held accountable.
